I have choreographed for individuals who can better dance what I created than if I were to deliver it. Choreographing alone does not ensure success. Once the piece is created, the dancer needs to learn it by heart and then "perform" it. There's a difference between learning a routine and practising it to performance level ( another podcast to come on that )
