17 DEC 2018 · MAJOR SPOILER ALERT AGAIN!!
A shit-ton of spoilers in this episode but Dan and Simon on form. A real surprise from 2018: Upgrade, written and directed by Leigh Whannell. In this we take about ten minutes to remember what the plot was and discuss how up to the minute people from the future are. Dan reveals his love for women with big teeth and Simon reveals is appreciation for the ones without bums - feminists or idiots? You decide. As per usual, the normal unbalanced ratio of critical discourse to Chesney shade. Only one movie again but we are trying to think of ways to improve for a next season. Cheers!

10 DEC 2018 · MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!
Absolutely do not listen to this episode before you’ve seen the movie!!
Changing things up: just one movie this episode - the 2018 Palme d’Or winner, Shoplifters. A Japanese kitchen sink drama about a family of shoplifters who take in a little girl, freeing her from an abusive household. It’s a lovely little film filled with nuance and important social questions but these two dickheads still manage to talk about spunk and breasts in the middle of it all! Also, Macaulay Culkin - we hardly knew ye.

6 DEC 2018 · SPOILER ALERT!
Are they or aren’t they? Two low budget insane asylum shockers to tease and unease! Journeyman Steven Soderbergh’s iPhone-shot Unsane and Poverty Row auteur Sam Fuller’s shocksploitation cult classic, Shock Corridor. In one half, Dan & Simon are high on life and in the other, they’re knackered but still have time for discussion of protection from metaphorical rain, Jordan Peterson’s brother Gary and educating Dan about what the best boy really is. By the end of this one, you’ll be questioning your own sanity… or tolerance for shit.
