The Rad People Project

  • The Rad People Project - Anne Perry

27 MAR 2016 · I met this woman a few years ago... on Craigslist. (yep, we love this story) While that's probably not the go-to site for scouring potential soul-sisters, it actually worked for us! And over the last few years I've gotten to work with, play with and ultimately step into a new world of how life and business is done with the wonderful Anne Perry. She joined me for an episode of the Rad People Project, and inspiration, or should I say MAGIC, ensued. Some of the raddest parts? * Carpentry is the new cool. * What's next? Something better than we can image. * You can't force magic. * When you can laugh with people, you're at home with them. * LiVe ~LoVe ~ LaUgH! - Anne Perry * Our ONLY job in creating our existence is just to set up the conditions for magic to emerge. * Creation through play > creation through your ego. It was quite the lovely conversation, and I hope you agree!

  • The Rad People Project - Myles Perry

23 JAN 2016 · Y'all. Probably the funniest Rad People episode yet occurred Friday afternoon with Myles Perry. He joined me with some spiked cider to discuss the finer things in life, including the transformation to becoming a spiritual hippie, slabs of cheese and Bryan Adams, of course. Some of the raddest highlights? * The world of meditation is literally another world. * Back issues are whack issues. * It's a wonderful thing to be proud of your person. * Mark Twain and Buddha knew what was up. * Home is where the good lighting is. * Bryan Adams. Yeah, we had some fun. It turns out that chatting with your friend is a great way to wind down the week on a Friday afternoon!

Some of the most beautiful take-aways? * New places provide new hope. * Be patient with the unfolding. * Where your heart is is where you make your home. * Adopt a daily attitude of gratitude. * You are whole. With popcorn, PJs and nighties present, you know what happened...Insights were gleaned, laughter was shared and conversation was had. Check it out, friends!

  • The Rad People Project - Krishna Bhatt

4 JAN 2016 · Not even tech issues nor a head full of mucus could stop me from talking to Krishi, my dear friend and this week's Rad person! Krishna and I have been friends for over a decade and have created memories through high school, college dorms, overseas and beyond… (which made picking out a photo to use for this episode extremely fun and nostalgic!) She joined me for this episode, and you know what happened...Insights were gleaned, laughter was shared and conversation was had. Some of my favorite moments? *Krishna sharing a piece of her vulnerable, honest and beautiful journey through navigating life (and the dating world) after losing a significant other *Hips that don’t lie *People are innately self-serving. *Krishna calling me out on my body-hairyness…
Check it out, friends! And shout out to Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Parul!

  • The Rad People Project - John Harrison

27 DEC 2015 · “We’ve got to make room for stuff that is life-giving.”

World, meet John Harrison, my friend and our third Rad People Project guest. John and I met when I was in high school, and since then he’s worn many hats for me - youth director, preacher, mentor, enlightener, supporter… and the list goes on! Today, he wore the Rad Person hat.

Insights were gleaned, laughter was shared and conversation was had.

Oh, and the train chimed in a time or two.

P.S. Here are the incredible books, websites and creative contributions that were mentioned: John's cartoons: https://www.facebook.com/GuitarGirlOnline/?fref=ts Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuck Unnatural Talent by Jason Brubaker

  • The Rad People Project - Edwin Johnston, Kyle Barnes and Hunter Schatz

21 DEC 2015 · “We need to get real.” We’ve got 3 Rad People for the price of 1 this week, and more is definitely merrier on Christmas week! Cyber world, meet my little brother, Edwin, and his friends (and mine), Kyle and Hunter.

They are truly rad and played with some fun questions. Some of my favorite take-aways? Respect the “y’all.” Be the guiding hand instead of the forcing hand. People are innately people. Love one another. Home is where your bidet is.

I'm obsessed with awesome people - rad ones who inspire me just by being. And they deserve to be celebrated. So I decided to sit them down and ask them questions.
