28 JAN 2024 · To kick off 2024 we speak with City Councillor and currently an Adjunct Professor of Practice at UBC’s School of Public Policy and Global Affairs and Instructor at SFU. Andrea takes us through her incredible journey from her time on the streets, to organizer, to green politician and then Vision Vancouver city councillor and now educator. She reflects on the Greenest City 2020 initiative and what Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim is getting wrong about crime. She makes this case that working people need realize their power in order to bring about social change.
