31 AUG 2020 · New York-based author, Barbara Dee, writes about topics and issues that are very familiar and "real" to her middle grade audience: relationships, friendship, school, parents and family.
Barbara's latest novel, My Life in the Fish Tank" is the story of how one deals with the news that an older brother has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. It's about watching, being watched and opening up the important conversations around mental illness.
