23 AUG 2021 · On this week's episode of Notes from the North, Kyle and Sam discuss the concerns at the quarterback position for the Vikings, specifically the backup position. In second down the guys talk about who is trending up and trending down, and finish off by looking ahead at the final preseason game and what to watch for. They wrap up odds and ends with some Tebow talk and update on the Minnesota Wild's offseason.

16 AUG 2021 · On this weeks Notes from the North, the guys break down the Vikings first preseason game against the Broncos. In first down the guys discussed what stood out for him on both sides of the ball. Second down looked at the impact the game has on the roster and what to be looking for regarding the depth chart. In third down, the guys took a look at what the next few weeks will be like and discuss what to be looking for as the Vikings get ready for the regular season to start. They finished off with some odds and ends and talked about the contract negotiations with the Minnesota Wild and how concerned to be.

9 AUG 2021 · On this week's episode of Notes from the North, Kyle and Sam are joined by Paul Bretl, a writer for Green Bay Packer's sites DairylandExpress and CheeseheadTV. The guys in first down hear a little about Paul's background and how he got into writing, and then dive into the Aaron Rodger's saga in second down. Paul shares how he views all that has transpired over the past few weeks, and what this means moving forward. The episode was wrapped up with Paul sharing his NFC North Power Rankings. 2 AUG 2021 · On this week's Notes from the North, Kyle and Sam are joined by special guest Dustin Baker, a writer from Viking's Territory. After learning about Dustin and his Vikings connections in first down, Dustin and Kyle go back and forth discussing who they predict will win the training camp battles at 5 of the positions. To finish the show the guys discussed Zimmer on third down and if he is the guy to lead the Vikings. Notes from the North thank Dustin for coming on and providing his insight.

26 JUL 2021 · On this week at Notes from the North, Sam provides a quick update on some odds and ends of where we are at in the Vikings offseason and some dates to look forward to. He then gets into an extended Minnesota Wild update on their offseason, talking about the buyouts, the expansion draft, the Kaprisov contract stalemate, and the NHL draft. He tries to put a positive spin on all these decisions, which for some proves to be more difficult than others.

12 JUL 2021 · On this week from Notes from the North, we are continuing our Top 3 from last episode. This week we again had Cole Smith join us as we looked to some happier memories from Cole and Kyle. The guys started off first down listing their Top 3 All-Time Favourite Vikings Players. They finished off talking about their Top 3 All-Time Best Vikings Moments (although not all moments shared were specifically related to the Vikings). 28 JUN 2021 · On this week episode of Notes from the North Kyle and Sam were joined by Cole Smith, who is a writer for both The Vikings Gazette and Last Word on Sports. The guys got to hear Cole's story during first down as they learned how he started to cheer for the Vikings. Kyle and Cole then took turns with two Top 3 lists. Second down focused on the guys Top 3 All-Time Vikings Heartbreaking Moments. To finish with third down, the guys shared their Top 3 All-Time Heartbreaking NFL Franchises (hint: you'll probably expect #1). This is part one of a two part series, be sure to check out the second, more positive episode July 12.

14 JUN 2021 · On this week at Notes from the North, Kyle and Sam are joined by creator and lead from Daily Norseman Christopher Gates. In first down, Christopher shares about his story and covering the Vikings. Second down consisted of talks about OTA's and the Vikings offseason up to this point. For third down, they talk about Danielle Hunter and their level of concern of where things are at with them. Notes from the North want to extend a sincere thanks Christopher for coming on.

31 MAY 2021 · On this week of Notes from the North, the guys were joined by former Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson and AMarie Castillo. First down is a getting to know you game with Erin and AMarie. In second down we discuss OTAs and the UDFAs, and got to hear Erin's perspective as an UDFA back in 2008. They wrap up talking about the Minnesota Wild and their playoff outlook (42:25), and give their prediction for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
