  • My Hat Has a Cow

27 DEC 2017 · It's #WhedonverseWednesday and it's time to get stylish. This week I'm joined by blogger, YouTube sensation and digital content guru, Emily Jayne Hallsworth. In a past life, Emily once wrote a blog for Syfy about the style of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so there was really only one topic we could discuss for this episode. Emily and I talked the best, worst and most iconic outfits from the series, and what they told us about the characters.

  • It's A Wonderful Life (Unless You're Angelus)

20 DEC 2017 · It's #WhedonverseWednesday and it's my last episode before Christmas! This week, David Whitney returns and we decided to look into what passes for a Christmas special in Sunnydale. That's right, we discussed Amends. This episode is Buffy the Vampire Slayer's only Christmas episode, and it digs back into Angel's past. For me this was a rewatch, but a first viewing for David, and we discuss our thoughts about the episode, from Angelus' bad moustache right through to comparisons to other festive classics.

  • Wales Comic Con with Kristine Sutherland and Nicholas Brendon

13 DEC 2017 · It's #WhedonverseWednesday! Last weekend, I went to Wales Comic Con and managed to get into the Buffy the Vampire Slayer panel on both days, with Kristine Sutherland and Nicholas Brendon. They talked about the legacy of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, their favourite villains, the impact of The Body and finally settled that all important question: Angel or Spike? This week's episode has some highlights from the panels, and I managed to grab a few minutes with Nicholas Brendon, where we talked the Buffy comics and the Buffy and Xander romance that almost was.
