Blue Zone project and the power of 9: 1) Move Naturally- walking, working, playing. 2) Have purpose- Why do you wake up every morning? 3) Down shift- rest throughout the day. 4) 80% rule- eat until you're 80% full 5) Plant Slant- keep to a greener diet and reduce the amount of meat you eat. 6) Wine at 5- an occasional drink with friends and food can increase your life span. 7) Belong- it doesn't matter what you belive, but being connected and envolved with a faith based group can help support the longevity of life. 8) Family first- putting your family first and living near your loved ones can help support your well-being. 9) Right Tribe- Creating a group of friends who support each other till the end have a better chance of living longer. Healthy routines and life styles are supported better when you have friends who live healthy lives too.

If you have insurance, most of the cost of your session may be covered by your insurance. If you don't have insurance, we provide a sliding scale of fees depending on which therapist you see and your financial situation. We provide face to face counseling if you live in Chicago and certain towns in Iowa, there is also counseling anywhere via online counseling.
