This show exists to provoke people, namely the Armed Forces Family, to think about a lot of different things as it pertains to life in military service, and more importantly, in preparation for far beyond.
If people will begin to think, thinking is the highest function we’re capable of. Thinking can be taught. Unfortunately it’s not being taught in our traditional academic pursuits, or even in the working environment today, but it can be.
Thinking is worthwhile learning. We’re not taught to think, we’re conditioned to react to what’s happening around us.
When we react we don’t think before we react, and that causes us much stress and overload, and causes less than ideal decisions to be made in hindsight.
Victor Fronco, Mans Search for Meaning, in every situation, between every situation, there’s a space. It might only be a millisecond, but in that space you have the ability to choose whether you’ll react or respond.
When you react, whatever you’re reacting to is in control of you, whether it’s another person, situation, whatever the circumstance.
When you respond to the same thing, you stay in control. When you react they’re in control, the environment is.
When you respond, you stay in control of the situation and environment.

It's Your Podcast...and I landed the JET for Maintenance and Upgrades
4 FEB 2022 · Had a good friend and early client let me know I need to make some adjustments to this podcast, so we're landing the show briefly for me to do so. He said I'm flying in a fighter jet, and I need to jump in the C130 so the audience can follow along. We'll make some updates to the first four episodes, spread them out to 7 or 8 episodes, and then come back with a refreshed delivery I hope you'll enjoy. For now, I've kept the previous episodes listed as ***DRAFT*** for your listening pleasure for the content and message. Someone else told me they'd just listened to them all and were very informative, despite the shortcomings. So, I won't deny others the opportunity to learn now.
