We're providing political commentary to promote social justice, racial equality, and gender rights. We’re here to break down what’s going on today. We want to help you see through the fog of prejudice and injustice and name it for what it is.
We want to empower you with the answer to the question, “Well, what’s wrong with that?” When it comes to things like voter purges, ID laws, dress codes, stop and frisk…
We’re talking to you about outrages past and present so that we can work together to prevent future causes of outrage.
In short, we’re living in the fall back - the combination of a backlash against progress and the fall out of defunding education, getting comfortable, and letting prejudice simmer unchecked. We want to be out there in the fight, galvanizing those voices, helping people realize that we are entitled to and capable of building a better future.
