There are few people who inspire me the way Gigi Edwards Bryant does. Having entered the foster care system at age 6, and staying there until age 18, she has one of the most powerful stories I’ve ever heard. And y’all...seriously, I’m telling you, you. Will. LOVE. Her.

But felony convictions, incarceration, and foster care are also part of SaulPaul’s incredible life story. After being released from prison, he was accepted to University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with a 4.0. Today on the show, he shares:
- His childhood of making good grades and getting made fun of, but getting arrested and earning respect (and, why he’s determined to turn that around for young people today).
- How he traded personal training sessions for guitar lessons, and became a musician.

Early in her professional career, Taylor worked for Teach For America, she was steeped in academia, and things were moving along at an even clip...until she realized she was on the completely wrong life path.
What comes next? How about a total career jump to television hosting? “Everyone in my life thought I was crazy,” she says. But you know who was the one person who believed in her vision? Taylor. On this episode, she talks about:
-How she course-corrected her professional goals,

A burn survivor, a veteran, a motivational speaker and so much more, J.R. opens up to us about his fascinating life. Which includes, by the way, winning “Dancing with the Stars” (!) and being named one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive. But J.R. isn’t just successful and charming - he’s someone we need in this moment. A man who loves therapy, who is grateful for the second chance he got at life, and who reminds all of us that when you’re vulnerable, there is loving support and a community, waiting for you on the other side.
