26 JUL 2023 · Columbia Falls is hosting its Heritage Days, filled with fun activities from Thursday to Sunday. On Thursday, there's a concert and free entry to Pinewood Park Pool. Friday features the Wildcat Athletic Endowment auction and barbecue, supporting Columbia Falls Athletics. Saturday starts with a fireman's breakfast, followed by a 5K/10K run and pickleball at Columbus Park. The main parade at noon leads to arts, crafts, food vendors, and a new cornhole tournament at Marentat Park. Sunday kicks off with a golf tournament at Middle Lake Golf Course. 17 MAY 2023 · Spring into Safety aims to promote community engagement and educate families about various safety measures and resources. Attendees can explore different booths and interact with first responders. Car seat safety checks, life jacket giveaways, and free bicycle helmets will be available. Spring into Safety is Saturday, May 20th, at the Fairgrounds from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Trade Center building. This event wouldn't be possible without the support of Flathead Electric Co-op members who round up their bills through the Roundup for Safety program. 11 MAY 2023 · In this episode of Co-op Community Spotlight, Mike and Teresa discuss the upcoming 34th Family Forestry Expo taking place at Trumbull Creek Educational Forest this Saturday, May 13th. The event offers a range of activities and demonstrations for families, including logging equipment demonstrations, mule string displays, logger sports team showcases, educational exhibits on bear awareness and backcountry camping, and information on local rivers and aquatic life. You'll even have the opportunity to pick up a tree seedling to take home! Admission is free thanks to a fantastic group of individuals, businesses, agencies, and organizations with a shared goal of education.

12 OCT 2022 · Tommy Edwards and Jack Rogan from NBC’s The Voice talk about their upcoming performance at the Feed The Need Benefit Concert. Feed the Need will be held at the Jewel Basin Center in Bigfork on Thursday, Oct. 13. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. Admission to the event will be “pay what you can,” and attendees are encouraged to donate at the door. Donations will benefit the Flathead Food Bank and Samaritan House.

4 AUG 2022 · $500+ worth of prime beef, anyone? Courtney Stone, Public Affairs Specialist, sat down with Mike Hammer to talk about the 2022 Ribeye Raffle. Every year, Flathead Electric buys six stock animals from the 4H/FFA at the fair. Most of the meat goes to the local food banks, but the prime cuts of beef are raffled as a fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the local food banks. $1 per ticket or $5 for 6. Tickets are available for purchase at https://www.flatheadelectric.com/community/ribeye-raffle/.

It is all about how Kalispell became the hub for the railroad. There will be artifacts and stories from 1892 to the present day.
