3 MAR 2023 · When Caroline Herter was still an undergraduate student, she began taking photographs. She had been interested in photography since she was a child, and she wrote a research paper about it. She began shooting seriously only during her first year at the University of Washington. As a student abroad in Japan, Caroline was introduced to photography for the first time. Her love of taking photographs soon became a great way to express how she felt about the world. Her unique aesthetic developed gradually as she experimented with different styles and techniques abroad. After winning the school's photography competition in her first year, she was more confident about pursuing photography. Caroline moved to Miami in order to pursue a career as a photographer after graduating from college.
