Buffer-Out! is a podcast series by the Home for Cooperation and Meltem Burak, an independent pod producer.
Throughout the Buffer-Out! podcast series, Meltem will invite different people to spread the word on their own personal stories and experiences and their relationship with the Home for Cooperation. They will together explore questions such as: how they encountered the Home for Cooperation; why the Home is important for Cyprus; how they came up with their peacebuilding idea; what kind of difficulties they have been facing; how the Home for Cooperation helps them realise their idea and overcome difficulties etc. Overall, Buffer-Out! is a digital storytelling platform which aims to contribute to the construction of a culture of peace in Cyprus.
Buffer-Out! is funded by the Active Citizens Fund, through the Home for Cooperation project which is implemented by the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research.

9 MAY 2023 · In this final episode of Buffer-Out!, Meltem Burak hosts Australian artists Kat Kats and Bryce Ives. Together, they elaborate on Awaiting Your Reponse which is an art project based on the 134 love letters the Cypriot grandparents of Kat Kats sent to each other in the 1960s. Awaiting Your Response was first showcased during the Buffer Fringe Performing Arts Festival in 2020. It is a work in progress which develops with the time. 31 JAN 2023 · In this fourth episode of Buffer-Out!, Meltem Burak hosts ex-journalist Stefanos Evripidou. Stefanos is a media professional with sixteen years of experience. Throughout the episode, Stefanos elaborates on his experiences in journalism from Cyprus and other zones of frozen and intractable conflict; shares his perception on peace journalism with a critical approach; and explains his relationship with the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) and the Home for Cooperation (H4C). Stefanos produced video blogs for the AHDR and co-produced a documentary called Birds of a Feather which was screened at the AHDR. The documentary investigates the role of the H4C in creating space for intercommunal dialogue in divided Cyprus.
