Jan 27, 6:30 RH McEwan service Saturday night "Setting the Tone" 1st Sunday of the year. Fasting, Prayer, laying a foundation for the year. We need to be able to discern the Lord. Being sensitive, take ground and not loose it. Step into the things God has called you into. Firm and eyes fixed in Jesus. Set the tone. Be thankful. Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be thankful. Surrender into the will of God, lots to be thankful for. Through fasting , subject our body , bringing our flesh into control. Gossip, hearing impeccable , Crucify the flesh. Thinking about everything that is wrong , let that not be where you get stuck. We need to recognize the blessings in our lives , verses the things that don't matter. Get a spiritual mind and get a thankful mind, grateful and thankful enjoying the blessings that the Lord has brought into our lives . God makes a way where there is no way. Thank you Lord, he answer prayer, brings good reports. Hope in you. We need heaven to touch us. Believing hearts, grateful hearts. Get a Devine perspective. God is greater, feeds me, sustains me. #Unity , this is of utmost importance this year. The enemy will try and divide in leadership. Small seeds can produce big harvests, the little foxes can spoil the vines. We want a house of harmony. Not one of division. Keep talking, growing through issues. Don't runaway. Talk it through. A weak spirit, many are weak in spirit, God wants us strong in spirit, able to stand firm. When a giant shows up, you are ready. Stand firm in Jesus. Lord let it never be said that we are a point of division. God hates he that sows discord amongst the brethren . Little rumblings, murmurings. God thank you. People have forgotten the thank you, protect the church. Protect the bride , the blood bought church. Let's not bash the church. Don't be running down your spouse. If you do that, there is nothing off the table. It's not them, it's you, get your heart right. Same if you're running down a church. There is no perfect church, love your church, glory to God. Love , have a heart were the Lord has called you, were he has planted you. So the work of God can go forward Psalm 133 :1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Like pleasant things, unity is above all problems, contend for unity. Got no time for that. Dwell together in unity. Psalm 133:3 Pull together Your my brother your my sister, Unifying songs Move forward and recognize that we need to be in the house of the Lord Psalm 134 Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion. Break free Come in alignment with God, let His thoughts fill our thoughts. His ways fill our ways. Live like you are blessed as you are blessed. God bless's . We are blessed and not cursed. It will work out , he is very concerned for me. My God has me , got me, takes care of me. I have Christ in me who is the hope of glory !!! Act like you have been in the presence of God. Be catalyst for change, be change makers, he has gifted us, filled us, we are here to represent His kingdom. How can two walk together unless they work together. Amos Be the light in a world of darkness. People of prayer. Move in the blessing. You will see harvest. Put your hand where he puts it. Lord says move into it, get into the things before you, leave the past behind you. The devil is a liar, no devil can hold you back. We are here to contend. Don't back down, don't take a passive approach. Build our lives on the word of God. Build to stand the test of time. Move toward the vision of the future. What you give into into today will become tomorrow's battles. You don't have to tolerate those devils. Don't let them control your life. Recognize the battle, look at the spirit, address it. Grow and address it, contend, say no more. He has put in us talents, he is going to ask, what did you ? Did you hide it away? The anointing on you, God wants you to confront the attitudes, let the Lord bring it together, glory of the Lord. Don't be silent when everyone else tolerates it. Speak out, speak up about it. There is a lot of things going on, need to speak against things that are not right. Comedians can address things , we like to see smiling faces be frowning or nashing teeth. Be wise, hearts full in love , bold as lions. Speak up, stand up. The truckers convoy helped put a stop to a bad time in Canada 🇨🇦. The Lord was in that. Change started to happen. Some people paid a price for that. Our lives are better because of what happened with the Convoy. In all thy son's command. We make change happen. We are a powerful force in this earth. 🌍 United we can make a difference. Change is happening. Like Gideon , we have a part to play. Read Judges , pray, seek God, He will raise up somebody. People have free will, can make choices . Please the Lord above all things . The cause of Christ to grip your heart. See the Holy Ghost moves. The King is coming soon. Let's not loose our way. Time is short. Watch out for the negative people. For those that don't share your vision. Keep your feet straight. Do not depart. Be faithful till that trumpet sounds. The best place to be , wanting to please God. The safest place to be is wanting to please God. Just want to please God. Keep our feet straight. Keep Our eyes single, fixed on you Jesus. Glory at the end of that journey. When you walk were you should be , it matters. It's glory for us at the end of this journey. One man sows, one man waters, but God gives the increase. Without him we can not do anything. It's God that works in the mystery, in what we cannot see. Heaven works through us, empowers us, through the spirit of the Lord. Glory to God. Punch insecurity in the eye this year. God is with you. The spirit of might raise in you.
