Instead, she decided to follow her passion for the arts and gained as much experience as she could in the cultural sector. Now, Anna combines all the knowledge and skills she gained from the program with her love for creativity and communications in her role as Content Strategist at Gladia, turning ideas into real-life projects. After work, she enjoys sports and biking outdoors or attending different cultural events in the center of Paris.

    11 JAN 2024 · Olivier recognized the value of the opportunities available at IE University early on. He immersed himself fully into the university’s diverse community, finding long-term friends and lasting connections within its vibrant, multicultural student body. He also developed confidence in public speaking, a skill that is essential for his current work. Olivier is now a senior internal auditor at Nestlé, which involves minimizing risks and providing risk assurance across different areas of the business. In his free time, he enjoys running or longboarding through the streets of Paris and practicing melodic riffs on his guitar.

  • Alvaro Vidal at Bird&Bird (Madrid) | Your Own Path

    7 MAR 2023 · Álvaro has been a qualified lawyer in Spain—where he practices technology law, intellectual property law and data protection law at international law firm Bird & Bird—for almost six years. His day-to-day work as a data protection associate sees Álvaro assisting some of the biggest tech firms in the industry while also hosting data protection seminars at IE University. Reflecting on how the institution’s hands-on approach to learning gave him an edge in the real world, Álvaro notes that being given case scenarios to resolve as part of a group helped him to overcome his shyness and prepare for his current role. She does this by using various financial tools to analyze the macroeconomic environment, the entity’s competitive strengths and its financial position. For Laura, success means putting a lot of effort into getting really good at something you’re passionate about. We went to a number of countries including the Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, Spain, Holand, UK, France and Mexico to reconnect with old friends. However, our students know no limits when it comes to working in multinational environments, with many finding homes all over the globe. Keep an eye out for more videos, and, who knows, maybe you could end up working abroad with one of these exciting opportunities.
