26 MAR 2021 · This week's episode is part 2 of our blast from the past and a bit of Westray musical heritage. In part 2 we have more choir music and duets, some songs from the 'youngeens' in 1983, and a poem from the minister. Many thanks to John Banks for extracting the recording of the February 1983 Baptist Social from a cassette tape so that we could share it with you today. Please bear in mind that it is a 'home recording' from 1983 so the audio isn't as clear as we can manage in 2021 and it does jump a little but that just adds to the retro feel!
