10 MAR 2021 · Everyday there is a lot of injustice happening around the world, including political repression or even people being tortured because of their religious beliefs… It is frustrating and nearly impossible to change many of these by ourselves. What can we do then?
Does God really exist, and if he does is he really turning a blind eye towards these things? Does he have the same feelings as us? If so, why hasn't he responded? What is our role if our ability to create change is so limited?
So… what now?

So we furrow our brows, and muster up what little strength we have and try to smile. But our struggles are real, your struggles are real… We can try all we want, but sometimes we just don’t seem to have the strength within ourselves.
So… what now?

10 MAR 2021 · Around the world we are experiencing the effects of climate change: water and air temperatures are rising at alarming rates, adversely affecting the habitats that sustain life for fish, animals, plants and human beings. To be fair, most of the responsibility falls on us, exploiting the Earth’s resources to our benefit. And even though we try to be more environmentally friendly as a collective, there doesn’t seem to be as many drastic improvements as we would like.
So… what now?

10 MAR 2021 · Romantic relationships have been an integral part of human life pretty much since the beginning of time. How do contemporary sexual ethics align with Christian teaching? The topic of sex and relationships isn’t very often talked about in relation to Christianity, and when we do we hear about it, it tends to involve controversies around bigotry prejudice. What does the Bible say about all of this? How did God design relationships to work? And is any of this still relevant?
So... what now?

10 MAR 2021 · We are brought up in a culture that teaches us to succeed. This might mean making good money, getting a good job, making our family proud, getting good grades at uni... So we strive to achieve them. But you feel like an imposter, everyone around you seems better than you are. You’re told to work harder, that a bit more success will make you feel better. But it never does… There's always more, it's overwhelming, the fear of failure, the feeling of insignificance. So… what now? Events week is a series of talks organized by the UCL Christian Union, around 40min each, and this year we are exploring the theme of "What now?". We are very excited to have Peter Dray from UCCF speak to us on the first topic "Success Culture and Christianity - How Can I Succeed And Fail Without It Ruining Me?"
