2 OCT 2026 · The Croatian artist duo BENJAMIN BELJIAN, better known as ŽELJKO, and IVA JURIĆ create fantastic objects that are, on the one hand, creative works of art with which one can interact. At the same time, they are also games that are meant to be played and are considered creative artwork. In other words, playable art or artistic games. The duo is deeply rooted in Zagreb’s local soccer scene and they have published several comprehensive books, research studies, and historical interviews. Additionally, through their projects, they not only seek to breathe new life into discarded items through upcycling but also revitalize abandoned sports facilities and playgrounds with new equipment or soccer goal nets. We met the two in Sarajevo during preparations for their exhibition at the Manifesto Galeria and spoke with them in an interview about their art, the ideas behind their interesting ventures, and their planned association. The audio is online, but a comprehensive page will be available soon at https://vagabundler.com/artisani/.

24 SEP 2026 · For our Sarajevo Graffiti series, we met up with another fantastic writer from the city. RUTZ has been actively creating pieces on the walls for a long time, and especially in abandoned ruins and old factory buildings. His style is bright, colorful, and very elaborate. Above all, it’s incredibly versatile, many of his pieces have such different styles that at first we wouldn’t have attributed them to a single artist. And every time, they’re brilliantly executed at a high level. On various tours through the suburbs, RUTZ showed us great spray locations and graffiti hot spots that we would never have found on our own. So a big thank you to him for showing us around and helping with the Sarajevo Map. In an interview, we talked about his graffiti, his development as a writer, and the local scene. The audio is online, but a comprehensive page will be available soon at https://vagabundler.com/bosnia-herzegovina/.
