Hello and welcome!
My name is Divonis and this is my podcast. Here, I'll be discussing an array of topics ranging from music and popular culture to mycology, life, spirituality, and everything in between. There will also sometimes be an emphasis on psychedelic experiences and exploration on how psychedelic chemicals impact the brain. My hope is to spark conversation and awareness to certain topics and just provide commentary on certain areas of interest.
This will be a predominantly mycology focused Podcast, however, I will also use this podcast to discuss other topics that are of interest to me and topics that I believe are of importance such as mental health, sustainability, psychology, spirituality, etc.
I decided to call my podcast "Trip Sitting" because I want the viewers to feel like they are listening to someone who cares about them and the information they are providing and are being protected and entertained while traversing through this trip we call life. Feel free to drop some knowledge or ideals as well, we're all passengers on this trip after all, so buckle up!

The alkaloid acids this mushroom contains are muscarine, ibotenic acid and muscimol. A lot of the information I got for this episode was based on the book "Mushrooms: How To Identify And Gather Wild Mushrooms and Other Fungi" by Thomas Læssøe and I would recommend that book if you wanna know general stuff about a wide array of mushrooms. .
