27 APR 2025 · In this episode, independent reporter Gia Santos shares her frontline experiences covering the politically charged "Protect White Americans" rallies in Dallas following the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a high school track meet.
The rallies, organized by pardoned January 6 participants Jake Lang and Phillip Anderson, sought to frame the killing as racial violence-a narrative Metcalf’s father, Jeff Metcalf, vehemently rejected in a heated phone exchange with organizers.
