  • A Conversation with Rod Johnson and Rob Williams

    6 JUN 2020 · Rob Williams and Rod Johnson founded and launched Guest House Films in 2005. They were married in 2016 and have been a couple for over 23 years. Guest House Films has completed 9 feature films, all written and directed by Rob Williams and produced by Williams and Rod Johnson.
Guest House Films is also a distributor, having released the BRIEFS line of short
films and the Australian documentary, THE DOCTOR’S WIFE. Last year, GHF also launched Guest House Books with the publishing of “Make the Yuletide Gay” novel and its sequel (coming soon!). We have also released the music to most of our feature films, including the popular soundtrack to MAKE THE YULETIDE GAY – a holiday favorite. 
Guest House Films has been honored with numerous awards and accolades.
Rob Williams and Rod Johnson were named “Leading Men of 2008” by Instinct
Magazine for their contribution to Gay Cinema. Also, Darwin Porter and Danforth
Prince feature their first film, LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP, in the book “50
Years of Queer Cinema”.

Mary Rachel is pursuing her acting, directing and producing career in Los Angeles. Since graduating from USC, she has been cast in several plays, musicals, shorts and independent feature films. She has also developed many of her own independent projects with her film production company, Kalliste Zoe Productions; including music videos, parodies, comedic sketches and short films.

    5 JUN 2020 · Monica and Adam have an informative and inspirational conversation with Director, Choreographer, Writer, Producer Anne Brashier. Anne has directed and assistant directed for Celebration Theater, The Actor's Gang, LA Theater Ensemble, Some Assembly Required, Sacred Fools, and a whole lot of short films, webseries, and sketch shows. She directed the webseries Corporate, which won several awards at the LA Web Fest. Her choreography for Monkey Madness was nominated for an LA Weekly Best Choreography award. This summer, she wrote and directed Measure 4 Measure, an interactive card game about reproductive rights, for the Hollywood Fringe Fest and Indiecade. Her play Dugout, a Little League Macbeth, is in development with Shakespeare Center Los Angeles. Her company, Stories & Makebelieve, produces promo videos for arts organizations.
