12 APR 2019 · The National Defense kicks off this week with author David Burnett (“Making a Night Stalker”), discussing a little-known piece of modern military history from the perspective of a Chinook helicopter crew-chief in the 160th Special Operations Aviation unit. David talks about his service as a crew-chief on the Chinook, and what readers can expect when picking up a copy of the great book “Making a Night Stalker.” Then, Randy welcomes Ford Motor Company’s SUV Marketing Manager Craig Patterson to discuss his history with the company as well as the exciting news on the brand-new Ford Escape. MVP matches up combat veterans and former professional athletes together to give them a new team to tackle the transition to civilian life together. Next, its retired United States Army Lieutenant General Michael Ferriter, who served as Commanding General of the United States Army Installation Management Command/U.S. Army Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. We talk about his storied military career, and the National Veterans Memorial and Museum he is heading up in Columbus, Ohio.

15 MAR 2019 · We welcome the COO of Gorilla Glue, Rob Lackman, and Aaron Fromm, Marketing Director, to the show to talk about some of the great work that Gorilla Glue and O’keefe’s Working Hands are doing to put together packages for Operation Gratitude. March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and Randy and Jerry welcome Wounded Warrior Project’s Alex Balbir, director for Warrior Care Network and Independence Services. Alex discusses the nature of brain injury, and the work that Wounded Warrior is undertaking in helping those affected manage with the symptoms of TBI.
