I met Georgie at a skate park whilst out with my son and observed she had a prosthetic leg from the knee down.  We struck up a conversation and I was immediately blown away by her story and I asked her to stop talking and invited her onto the show. To my delight she said YES! I found Georgie to be incredibly brave, honest and funny, all rolled up with an infectious laugh to boot. 6 MAY 2021 · This week on The Get Down we step away from Hip-Hop once again and Beats chats with Marshall from Third Eye Tattoo Studio down in Melbourne. Not only is Marshall incredibly talented at tattooing but I found he has an uncanny ability to have a great conversation convincing you that you have known him and been his friend for a long time. This may be due to all the hours he has spent talking to strangers in his tattoo chair, or it could be you follow his Only Fans account, and that's why you feel like you know him. Who knows. But in all honesty, I felt i could have continued this chat for hours and not become bored. Marshall was humorous and sincere and was able to articulate his passion and love of tattooing in a very undeviating way. Jimmy made his bones back in the early 90's honing his skills illegally in the cold dark streets & train yards of Adelaide, South Australia. Many would have dismissed Jimmy as nothing but a vandal and hooligan, but he is living proof that if you put your mind to it and trust the process, you can go on to make a living doing what you truly love. As a young fella, I marveled at the gems Jimmy would treat us with on his late night missions all over the city and as an adult I am equally impressed by the amazing art he develops today. This is a true South Australian success story of following your dreams and a nice little reminder to not be too harsh on your kids if you catch them coming home with spray paint on their hands.
