What did we dream that our married life would be like when we were married? 2. Did those dreams materialize? For how long? 3. What have we done most right in welcoming each other home? What do we need to do things better? What does it mean to be welcomed? To welcome? 4. What are the obstacles awaiting us when we get home? Is there anything we can do about that? 5. Do we have too many things crowding our schedules? What can we cut down on, or out completely? Do we need to replace it with something different? 6. What questions do we need to ask one another in order to move forward with our dreams? 7. Are we extravagant with material things, but poor on necessary things, like communication, or showing love to one another, and our children? 8. Is there a way we can be more helpful, or attentive to the needs of our spouse? 9. Do we take the time to pray each day with one another, or with our children? 10. If you could change one thing about your relationship right now with one another what might that be? 11.What makes you feel most welcomed by your spouse? 12. What are the songs of your lives? Any other thoughts, or feelings you would like to bring up to one another? Prayer: Play some of the songs of your life that speak to you of your journey together. Hold hands, and say thank you to Jesus for all that has been, and all that will be in the future. Make the sign of the cross on each other’s forehead and pray quietly for the other. End with a kiss.
