(Isaiah 59:19 ESV) GIVING TO AND HONORING GOD GUARANTEES YOUR PROTECTION Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 3:10-11 ESV) GOD HAS GIVEN YOU SPIRITUAL ARMOR THROUGH FAITH Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (2 Peter 2:21 ESV) THINKING OF THE PAST WILL ALWAYS TEMPT YOU TO TURN BACK They set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the people of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they had departed from the land of Egypt. And the whole congregation of the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, and the people of Israel said to them, “Would that we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.” (Exodus 16:1-3 ESV) THE GREATER THE CHALLENGE AND TEST…THE GREATER THE REWARD Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.” And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again. Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Sleep and take your rest later on. See, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. (Ezekiel 33:11 ESV) THE VERY ACT OF MAKING THE DECISION TO TURN BACK MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, (Acts 3:19 ESV) REMEMBER: THERE ILL BE TIMES THAT YOU WILL TURN BACK… THE QUESTION IS…WHAT WILL YOU BE TURNING TO? ***The Mystery's Challenge Of The Week For Us All*** ‘After listening identify ALL the areas of your life where you can ‘TURN BACK TO GOD & WHAT YOU KNOW IS RIGHT’ on the way to your goal and dream. Write them down on a sheet of paper and then decide on 3 different ways or times you can, & by faith according to Gods word, TURN BACK TO GODS WILL ON THE WAY TO YOUR GREATER GOOD. ***NOTE: The Easiest way for me is to FIGURE WHAT WHAT GOALS I HAVE NOT ACCOMPLISHED AND THEN BE HONEST ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT I'M TRULY MOVING FORWARD IN FAITH WITHOUT CONTINUING TO TURN BACK TO THE FAMILIAR FAILURES!!! AND HEN WRITE DOWN NEXT TO THAT GOAL HOW MY SELF IMAGE SHOULD CHANGE TO BE IN ALIGNMENT WITH THAT DREAM AND OR GOAL!! Based on what you have learned and been reminded of here…. ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GOD-GIVEN POWER TO THINK, CHOOSE, SPEAK, FEEL & ACT IN FAITH WITHIN YOU when it comes to consciously ’TURNING BACK TO WHAT IS RIGHT AND GOOD IN GODS EYES' each day so that He and His love can flow through you in an ‘easier’ way for and towards your greater good? Jot down the intention to ‘let it be so’ in your journal and then ask God for the strength, patience and love put it into conscious loving practice with acceptance. Amen.
