30 SEP 2015 · Hello and welcome to Tech Talk LIVE presented by PC Tech Rescue! From Mr. Ron's Desktop, the scam alert this week has to do with scammers getting to you by way of SMS text messages. That is right, they have found ways to steal your identity acting like your bank and sending you SMS. For more information, bbb.org/scam. We also talked about the XcodeGhost exploit that ran rampant through the iOS store and how that happened. Facebook had two old hoaxes brought out of the closet and dusted off so be sure not to believe everything that you read on the Internet. Twitter will be possibly coming out of their 140 character limit shell soon so be on the lookout for that!
