Eagles have powerful wings and talons. Elephants have incredible size and mass. The only superpower humans possess is the power of choice. Once taken away, we lose our strength to tear through the lies, to stampede for justice, and to take flight.

23 AUG 2019 · Americans have been carefully fashioned into bigots. Which is to say, they are byproducts of a system that has wholly submerged them in the propaganda of American assimilation like fish in the water. So today, we are raising an entire generation to be intolerant of other human beings and their ideas. And thus, we are raising little bigots. When you permit statues to offend you more than statutes then you are a bigot— Plain and simple.

Human suffering cannot be measured through the lens of analogy. Nor can it be known through effort. It is unique in that it tells a very personal story about those who have suffered. So, do not compare your struggle with my own. Do not pretend you have gone through a similar experience. You have not! I support all righteous struggle and will get in the trenches with you. But I will not assume to know what you're going through. The best I can hope for is to fight the good fight of faith with you. With all due respect, WE (’VE) BEEN THERE, not you!

1 MAR 2019 · I think there is a purposeful agenda to create a divide in the heart of the family by making men and women adversaries. Historically, men and women haven't always seen eye to eye but in today's political zeitgeist you would think that all men hate woman and that all women hate men. Nothing could be further from the truth, but the Handmaiden's Tale continues to be spun nonetheless by those societal engineers who by design want to rip apart the very fabric of tradition.

But here’s the thing how do we explain incivility and disrespect by our leaders towards one another to our children?
7 SEP 2018 · So, Nike puts out an ad on its 30th Anniversary, right before the start of the 2018 NFL season— (no coincidence there, right?)— about Colin Kaepernick with the heading, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.” Now, that’s a powerful affirmation. In fact if you haven’t seen the Commercial AD yet you should. Pretty powerful stuff. But, in my opinion, the overarching message is being sorely misappropriated. Don’t get me wrong I applaud brother Kaepernick for taking a stand (uh, a knee) for whatever he professes to believe. I certainly applaud him for putting his money where his mouth is by making sizeable and charitable donations to those causes. But you and I both know that merely throwing money at a problem or an issue doesn’t make it go away, or resolve it. Still, that’s not my gripe. Isn’t it funny how in a so-called post-racial society that something so irrelevant and trivial as a shoe company advertisement can throw Americans into a racial tizzy?
