19 MAY 2022 · Hi I'm your host Tracie Daily. My father killed my mother in 1993 He was a psychopath – I was ten when my mother was killed. I'm a big fan of true crime Podcasts and I've seen them take many different forms over the years. I've never seen one done by one of the people connected to murder and manslaughter directly and so, today's my first cast. Trigger warning – All of my content may potentially trigger anyone bereaved via murder and manslaughter or in fact any other situation. Enter at your own risk topday's episiode involves the death of a child. The case of Robert Astley – A child killer. Dennis Bradbury had been through enough, he'd lost his wife to a car accident a year ago and his daughter aged one had recieved broken legs, she'd healed over time and so a year later Dennis had gone to the pub and left his daughter in the hands of a baby sitter. Denise Bradbury was living in Kingstanding in Birmingham in 1983, she was just two years old and lived with her mum Patricia and Dennis her dad. This was 1983 and so not a million years ago, Robert Astley was 23 when he snuck into her home, sexually assaulted her and dumped her body into the back of a car in Sparkshill. 3 JUN 2022 · Anne Marie Pomphret was killed by her husband, he denied killing his wife and was released for five months before a huge undertaking by police which ensured this psychopath 20 years in prison. Warning - Some language and graphic content in this one. I feel so much for Megan their daughter bless her, we are unfortunately cut from a simular cloth. Wherever she is, good luck to her.

20 JUN 2022 · Part three of Tracie's story. Chapters 8 - 13. Here we find out about Alan and his passing. Life in a car and what happens when you don't eat. Both physically and emotionally. I want to shout out to WWW.SAMM.ORG.UK Support after murder and manslaughter. These guys weren't around when I was a kid, however when I was an adult they completely changed my life. It's no stretch of the imagination to say they saved my life. Don't get me wrong, I got me. I rescued me. However there's been two times in my life I came so close to not being here and two people made sure I got back on the right track. One was from S.A.M.M and so I truly owe them everything, you'll find out why in later chapters.
