In Spring Song, what begins as a typical Edwardian adventure takes a surprising turn into the realm of the uncanny. Grif, a young boy on holiday with his siblings, embarks on a quest through the picturesque English countryside to rescue their cherished dog. However, as the journey unfolds, an enigmatic and occasionally sinister magic begins to seep into the narrative, casting a shadow over Grifs once carefree spirit. With the help of a brilliant friend who assumes the role of boy detective, they delve into the depths of Grifs melancholy. But in a twist on traditional storytelling, the pursuit of truth raises more questions than it answers, leaving readers to ponder whether revealing secrets brings solace or despair. As the story evolves from straightforward to surreal, the haunting conclusion lingers long after the last page is turned. From the author of The Garden God. - Summary by Moon Lylith
