- You grow when you say yes to the uncomfortable.
Gene opens up by admitting he’s a little nervous being on the show (adorable, right?), but he hits us with this truth bomb: “We expand by our choice.” Growth often means stepping into unfamiliar spaces—and saying yes, even when it’s scary.
- He was raised in faith... but it was more “theory” than fire.
Growing up Mennonite, Gene knew about God, but not with God. It was head knowledge without heart connection—until later, when divine sparks started flying.
- His first God moments felt weird—and he ignored them.
In college, he bumped into Holy Spirit encounters that didn’t fit his box… so he brushed them off. (Relatable much?) Looking back, he sees they were divine breadcrumbs.
- Ministry happened...even when he didn’t feel qualified.
Gene and his family—the adorable “Smiley Crew”—were doing ministry, and one night God just took over. Youth were weeping at the altar, and Gene was like, “Wait, what just happened?” It was a Holy Spirit ambush… in the best way.
- He wasn’t seeking an encounter—God showed up anyway.
Ten years ago, Gene wasn’t striving or hyping anything. He told God, “If I’m not feeling it, I’m not faking it.” That’s exactly when God showed up. No performance, just presence.
- Same guy, new dimension.
His wife noticed it—Gene was still the same man, but now he was walking in a deeper “yes” to God. He wasn’t becoming someone different—he was becoming more of who God made him to be.
- From finance guy to faith guy.
Gene taught financial classes from Dave Ramsey… now he hears God in his dreams. Talk about a shift! His journey moved from spreadsheets and savings to visions, encounters, and Kingdom abundance.
- A scary nudge out of the box.
Gene sensed God leading him to financially help a friend—in a way that made zero logical sense. His inner budget guy panicked… but his spirit whispered “maybe.”
- Gift vs. transaction—what’s the real investment?
When it came time to act, Gene had to confront this: Was he giving out of control or out of love? A gift with no strings attached became the doorway to something much deeper.
- Breaking free from a poverty mindset took a radical act.
Nothing broke that old scarcity story like borrowing money… to give it away. It wasn’t the amount. It was the surrender. That act cracked something wide open in him.
- “Freedom Flow” wasn’t just a nice idea—it was a spiritual download.
Within 24 hours of giving that gift, downloads from Heaven began pouring in. He called it “Freedom Flow”—a divine invitation to live from overflow, not lack.
- It’s not about giving away money—it’s about relational abundance.
Freedom Flow isn’t a “give-it-all-away” program—it’s a lifestyle of trust, connection, and Kingdom-minded generosity. The money isn’t the main character… relationship is.

PURE GOLD:80-90% of people are separated from the land of their inheritance. This limits access to the fullness of God’s blessing, and the open heaven for rich encounters with the Lord. Ask the Lord if your family was taken from the land, or was the land taken from your family.

HIGHLIGHTS:– Finding a man of peace on each side of the Israeli / Palestinian border amidst the bombing and gunfire.
– Asking for a new memorial to be written because the last time His name was written it was written by a Roman, and put on a cross. It called him the King of the Jews. But he's not just the King of the Jews. He's the King of kings.
– Miraculous things start happening when you find the land that’s calling your name! You begin to steward over the things He’s calling you to steward over. Especially the presence of God.
– Everybody that I know is praying for a move of God to come. But what if we don't know how to steward over the presence, when it comes we'll ruin it. Because we'll do something that dishonors the King of kings, or dishonors one another, and he'll take up the cause of the righteous, and he'll protect and uphold the rights of the widow and the orphan and the poor and the strangers among us.– If we despise anything that he despises, our field might stop producing fruit, not because it's not capable of it, but because God will require repentance before it will spring to life again.– The land will reflect to you the condition of your heart. If you're right with God, it will be a bountiful field. If you're not, it will let you know. This is how it's supposed to work from the beginning. This is why the garden was important.
– This is really important. To understand that when you find your field. One of the highest and most fun things to do is to inquire of God about details on the field, what he wants, what he likes. If something's there, grow it out. If it's not there, plant it or build it.– You have to name it. The field really does come alive when you name it correctly, just like a child coming out of a womb. If I name it correctly, it's because I've discovered its creative purpose and design. So I don't want to call it something just because I like the name. I want to call it what God says it is. If it's a field of olives, then I'm going to give it a name that reflects that. If it's going to be a city, then I want to call out the name of that city. You want to name your field, what God says its inherent purpose is. Then that gives you a clue on what you're going to steward over all the days of your life.– In the book of Acts Barnabus was the first to sell property and give the money to the apostles. But this was actually an act of repentance for owning a field he wasn’t supposed to have as a Levite. He would have had to find the heirs of the original land owner to sell it back into their family to restore their inheritance and make the land right again with God.

- Barrenness makes us cry out
- We have to disengage from a culture God doesn’t honor
- Haran = the place of hesitation
- Say Yes, and then ask questions.
- God doesn’t always create it, sometimes He grows it
- Not just for me, but for my household
- When Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden of Eden, the lost lost its heir.
- To qualify as a mature son, you have to have a relationship with Father. You have to look like Him, act like Him, and make decisions like Him.

21 MAR 2025 · I’m going solo in this episode because there’s a lot of confusion, misinformation and even fear around working with angels as a Christian. But mostly there’s just a lack of awareness of these helpers God has provided to us as the heirs of salvation, as Hebrews 1:14 tells us.
As with anything I do or teach, we do NOTHING without eyes on Jesus, and under His guidance. I do NOT endorse engaging any spiritual beings outside of those the Lord has specifically assigned to you or introduced to you. And, of course, relationship with the Godhead is the first thing we seek…even though we’re invited to seek first His kingdom, I believe that means first AFTER seeking God himself.
In Ephesians 3:10 it says that “through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
I don’t go into this in the episode, but essentially that means that spiritual beings may not already know all the multifaceted wisdom of God, and his plan is for us—the church—to reveal it to them.
In fact, 1 Peter 1:12 says that angels long to peer into the affairs of men. I love Romans 8:19 in the Passion Translation: “The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!”
Also, keep in mind that angels aren’t used to working with us from the heavenly realms because most Christians have not taken their position as “seated in heavenly places with Christ” seriously. From the encounters I’ve had either personally or with my clients, both angels and the people in white from the cloud of witnesses are very happy and excited to work with us. It’s just a new experience on both sides. Fun times we live in!!
That said, here are the juicy bits…
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Partnering with Heaven in Business: Your business is a Kingdom venture, and Heaven is ready to co-labor with you. But like any partnership, relationship comes first, and then clear agreements—such as the Declaration of Trade, your covenant with Heaven.
- Angels Need Clarity Too: Unlike God, angels aren’t omniscient. They need clear instructions, just like earthly employees. Although they are awe inspiring and incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful, don't assume they "just know" what you want—lay it all out.
- Operations Manual in Heaven: Just as businesses have SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), your business needs one in the spirit realm too. It really helps the angels out when goals and strategies have been documented.
- Clearly Identify Your Ideal Clients: If you don’t define the people you really want to play in the sandbox with and can serve well in your heavenly business plan, angels won’t know who to bring. Be specific about your Kingdom assignment and who you're called to serve.
- Angels Co-Labor with You, Not Instead of You: They won’t replace your hustle, but they orchestrate divine connections while you do the footwork. Kingdom business is about faith and action.
- Time Chunking is a Spiritual Strategy: Time management isn’t just practical—it aligns you with Heaven’s flow. Writing time-blocking strategies into your heavenly operations manual (and sticking to them in your daily routine) helps your angelic team.
- Your Business has a Destiny: Before you ever had a business idea, Heaven already had a blueprint for it. You’re not just making things up—you’re walking out a divine plan. Be sure to receive it and unpack it with Holy Spirit.
- Scripture is a Business Growth Strategy: Like Psalm 103:20 says, angels move when you speak out God's Word over your business. Use personalized scripture as declarations to activate Heaven.
- A Cloud of Witnesses Are Cheering You On: You’re not just building alone. Saints from generations past are invested in your success because your business is part of God’s unfolding redemption plan. Their destinies are not complete without us.
- Entrepreneurial Anointing is in Your Bloodline: If faithfulness runs through a thousand generations, that means you can call forth entrepreneurial blessings from your spiritual heritage. Your ancestors' prayers and breakthroughs aren’t lost.
- Your Business is a Kingdom Solution: This isn’t just about making money—it’s about bringing Heaven to Earth. Your business is a solution to a problem God wants to fix, and your destiny scroll holds the blueprint to make it happen. Angels are assigned to help you.

- Get Heaven’s Blueprint First – Before you launch a business, get a website, or register anything, you need to align with what’s written in your destiny scroll. Making covenants with heaven first ensures you're moving in divine timing, not just human effort.
- Failures Are Just Data Points – Every misstep isn’t a failure but a learning experience. God often reveals direction through experience rather than direct instruction, so just step out, try, and adjust along the way.
- Entrepreneurship and Hidden Supply – Jesus surrounded Himself with business-minded people, and Kingdom financing often works like venture capitalism. Instead of just giving away money, it’s about investing in vision and expecting Kingdom impact in return. The Hebrew month of Adar (March) is a prophetic time to seek hidden financial supply.
- Find the Right Investors – If you’ve got a Kingdom-driven business idea, don’t just look for funding anywhere. Seek out like-minded investors who share your passion. Sometimes, the money comes from unexpected places—even from those outside traditional church circles.
- The Next Generation is Hungry for God’s Power – Many young people are searching for something real, especially those whose parents didn’t pass down the experience of God’s power. There are people with financial resources who want to invest in redeeming that lost legacy.
- God Provides Supernatural Strategy – Hosting God’s presence isn’t just spiritual fluff—it unlocks wisdom, creativity, and exponential learning. Just like the artisans who built the tabernacle and Ark of the Covenant with no prior training, Kingdom entrepreneurs can receive divine downloads for their businesses.
- The “Wheel” Model for Kingdom Business – A sustainable funding system means those who get help should give back. If someone invests in your vision, make sure you’re reinvesting into the next person in line. This keeps the financial flow moving within God’s economy.
- Breaking Free from the Poverty Mindset – Many in ministry come from a nonprofit mindset that struggles with money, while CEOs operate with a different level of financial stewardship. Bridging this gap requires a shift in thinking—Kingdom business isn't about scraping by, it's about abundance and multiplication.
- Poverty Isn’t Just About Money – The body of Christ has been stuck in a poverty mindset for too long—not just financially, but also in identity. Too many people are waiting for permission or approval rather than stepping into their God-given authority.
- Conquering the Giant of Lack – Fear of not having enough funds is a "giant" that must be defeated. The truth is, money is available within the body of Christ, but it requires a shift in mindset from scarcity to abundance.
- Giving is a Kingdom Principle – The focus of funding should be on God's mission, not personal gain. True Kingdom giving isn’t about “what do I get?” but rather “how does God want me to steward what He’s given me?”
- Breaking the Cycle of Neediness – More people ask for scholarships than people offering to fund them. The shift needs to happen where more people say, "How can I give?" rather than "What can I get?"
- Obedience in Giving Matters – You don’t need to be a CEO with deep pockets to make an impact. Even small seeds—$20, $50, $100—matter when sown where God is moving. Generosity isn't about the amount; it's about the heart posture.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Pioneers Often Face Resistance: When you’re ahead of the curve, people misunderstand you. The message about sounds and frequencies has been controversial, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Being a forerunner in a spiritual movement often means dealing with rejection before acceptance comes.
- Knowing Who You Are Unlocks God's Presence: It’s hard to truly step into God’s presence when you’re unsure of your identity. Moses had his issues, but he answered the call. A lot of people struggle with an orphan spirit, doubting if God speaks to them or if they’re worthy. But identity is key—when you know who you are, you walk in confidence.
- God’s Love Requires a Willing Heart: Sometimes, we block God’s love without even realizing it. In one worship session, a person’s resistance to receiving God’s love weighed heavy in the atmosphere. When they finally confessed, “I can’t receive the love,” and we were able to minister to that wound, everything broke open, and God’s presence poured in. Openness matters!
- It’s Not About You—It’s About Him: We tend to focus on our problems—“Why am I sick? Why hasn’t this changed?” But God wants us to shift from “me, myself, and I” to “What does God want?” His timing is perfect, and sometimes we’re out of alignment with it. Instead of demanding answers, we should go to His throne and seek Him.
- God’s Timing is Everything: Just like Israel couldn’t enter the Promised Land until the right generation was ready, we need to recognize God’s timing in our lives. If things aren’t moving, maybe the conditions aren’t right yet. Align with His calendar, not your own.
- Raising a Generation of Kings & Priests: There’s a call to raise a new generation of believers who know how to carry God’s presence—kings and priests who operate in divine authority. This isn’t about building a personal ministry but about equipping people to bring heaven to earth.
- Presence is Greater Than Denomination: At the camps, denomination doesn’t matter. It’s about worshiping Jesus together. No labels, no divisions—just believers hungry for God’s presence. When God is the center, unity follows naturally.
- Thanksgiving and Praise Are the Gateway – Want to step into His presence? Psalm 100 lays it out: start with thanksgiving and move into praise. The problem? Most people struggle to even list things they’re thankful for, or praise God for who He is, let alone doing these for an extended period of time. But practicing gratitude and focusing on His attributes is how you enter.
- Cultivating Presence Carriers: Worship isn’t just singing; it’s about hosting God’s presence. The camps train young people to live aware of His presence in everything—from eating meals to creating art. The goal? When they leave, they don’t just go back to life as usual—they become carriers of God’s presence wherever they go.
- 12 is An Apostolic Number: Jesus knew what He was doing when He chose 12 disciples. More than that, it’s the perfect number for discipleship. At the camps, the focus is on small groups (no more than 12) so that each person gets personal training in how to host God’s presence.
- In God’s Presence, Transformation Happens: People come to the camps carrying addictions, struggles, and broken dreams. But when they enter God’s presence, things break. Kids and young adults have left with business ideas, clarity, and supernatural freedom. When you host God’s presence, change is inevitable.
- Presence is Legislative: This is next-level: where there’s God’s presence, there’s His throne. And where there’s a throne, there’s authority. Revelation 4 shows us that worship isn’t just about good feelings; it’s about aligning with heaven’s government. When we get this, we move from passive churchgoers to active Kingdom participants.
- The Camps are Called “Captivated”: The name wasn’t just randomly chosen; the youth came up with it themselves: “A generation awakened by love.” The goal? Not just another Christian event—but an encounter where young people become captivated by God’s love and never look back.
- It’s About Surrender: From 11-year-olds to 30-year-olds, those who hunger for God will find Him. Some of the youngest carry more of God’s presence than adults. It’s not about experience—it’s about encounter.
- God Calls, God Transforms: What about kids struggling with identity issues, addiction, or deep wounds? If God brings them, He will transform them. The camps aren’t about behavior modification but about bringing people into an atmosphere where God’s presence does the work.
