5 JUL 2019 · On this episode, we talk with Producer (and all-around filmmaker) Desireé Moore. I’m a storyteller and I so happen to use the moving image to tell my stories. For me, the spectacular aspect of cinema is the intentional image and its potential to further the depth and meaning of the story. My artistic foundation in video art continues to inspire my development of radical narratives that challenge the contemporary viewer. I currently teach at the University of Missouri in the Digital Storytelling and Film Studies Production Departments within the School of Visual Studies. • S1E1 - John McElroy (Director)

26 JUN 2019 · On this episode, we talk with Director John McElroy. John McElroy here. Producer, actor, co-director and songwriter for the independent feature film “Rocky Mountain Fast Guy” and its all original soundtrack. Being a musician/songwriter is how I first learned my love for creating something from nothing. Being a filmmaker was another way to do just that. I had a story. Obtaining locations, actors, crew, props, etc. as well as coordinating schedules and somehow surrounding yourself with talented people and friends was something I didn’t know I could do. I need level headed, problem solvers around me. So for me it‘s about being honest, semi-realistic and sharing the enthusiasm, and although everything costs money it’s not about transactions, it’s about relationships. It’s emotional, exciting and sometimes disappointing but you’ll be creating. For more information about John and Rocky Mountain Fast Guy, visit http://rockymountainfastguy.com or https://www.facebook.com/RockyMountainFastGuy/. The film is available to watch on Amazon Prime. The soundtrack is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google play and Spotify.
