He originally got started in music studios in New York and eventually moved on to movie sound. He most recently ran Professional Sound Services in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Being a musician/songwriter is how I first learned my love for creating something from nothing. Being a filmmaker was another way to do just that. I had a story. Obtaining locations, actors, crew, props, etc. as well as coordinating schedules and somehow surrounding yourself with talented people and friends was something I didn’t know I could do. I need level headed, problem solvers around me. So for me it‘s about being honest, semi-realistic and sharing the enthusiasm, and although everything costs money it’s not about transactions, it’s about relationships. It’s emotional, exciting and sometimes disappointing but you’ll be creating.
