26 APR 2023 · In this first episode of Severed Conscience - Definitions, we introduce our theory that something has broken us, something has taken ahold of our minds. We call this state where we are unable to exercise moral judgement Severed Conscience. This state of mind is the by product of social media and psychological manipulation. Since COVID we see a new behavior, it has affected how we form connections to one another and forge relationships. We sidelined our ancestors who fought for the sanctity of life and liberty, who gave us this gift of freedom and prosperity, over the hypothesis “15 days to slow the spread”. While they repeated that phrase to us, what kept us neutral? Paranoia? Fear? Just going with the flow? Go stand in a crowd and watch people shuffle by. What are they wearing, what are they carrying? People’s cognition has been stunted, damaged to the point where they walk, they speak, but they cannot reflect on their individual responses normally rooted in self awareness. 12 MAY 2023 · In the previous episode we defined Severed Conscience as the breakdown of an individual’s awareness of the environment and the deterioration of their ability to make rational judgments. This breakdown is hastened by social media and excessive technology use. Kelly Trowhill relayed the symptoms she saw in her clients, including a rise in misidentifying the subconscious emotional drives with higher thought. Kelly described the techniques used to assess the emotional state of her patients to help them identify what is behind their increased anxiety. Being kept in a constant state of fight or flight, they are kept in a state of highly distracted, disordered thinking. This leads to heightened anxiety, depression and in some cases, contemplation of suicide Kelly described how the subconscious forms core emotions and responses, and how interference in this process can implant behaviors and instincts detrimental to healthy function of cognition. We learned that two competing families, the Putnams and the Porters, sought to control the region. Seeking more autonomy, the Putnams wanted to form a new church and control tax collection. They used the Witch Trials as a means to achieve that end against the Porters. Hysteria and fear were critical factors that were wielded effectively resulting in the execution of 19 people. 16 JUN 2023 · In the previous episode of Severed Conscience - History of Manipulation O, Kelly and Zee discussed the British East India Company and what they learned from the Caste system in India and how this shaped techniques of mass manipulation via education and slavery back in the West. This included fostering a state sponsored education system in Prussia, which had been so soundly defeated by France that the Prussian rulers were driven to ensure the population would be sufficiently inculcated to fight in defense of their country. We also learned of the manual for slavery titled How To Make A Slave by William Lynch that described creating an environment where enslaved human beings could be held in captivity by mere psychological means. Fear, distrust and envy were the key weapons. In this episode you are about to hear, we turn our attention to the mass manipulation techniques in the Soviet Union. While exiles occurred prior to the October Revolution, we learn that the Czar allowed several socialist parties to remain and even publish their literature. Czarist Russia was the wealthiest nation in Europe, yet the disparities between classes were targeted and further amplified by Lenin and others. The dopamine releases that you receive at the discovery of something new with each item you see in a scrolling list can lead to addiction and disrupt your sleep cycles. The amazing revelation is that Sean Parker, CEO of Facebook openly admits that the social media platforms were designed to keep your attention, and they were not bothered to investigate what that would do to mental and emotional development in children. 30 JUN 2023 · In the previous episode we covered the effects of overstimulation of the production of dopamine and norepinephrine and how infinite scroll lists on social media trap us in a continual fight or flight context. This concentrated state of agitation makes our subconscious susceptible to influences that we are unaware of. Tribal communities are formed on social media platforms, the sense of unity helps us combat uncertainty and loneliness. Over taxation of dopamine production leads to stress on the body. The joy we get from our online interactions rescues from the fear porn that AI content curation delivers to us. The dopaminergic effects can lead to aggression and poor impulse control. Blue light exposure only compounds the stress due to interrupted sleep cycles. In this episode Kelly, O and Zee review the electrical frequencies that constitute the brain waves associated with various forms of cognition. Beta waves triggered by blue light puts us in a state of the busy active mind, and social media then performs high speed context switching. 7 JUL 2023 · In the previous episode Kelly explains the function of the gamma, beta, alpha, theta and delta brain waves. The brain waves operate in conjunction with the Perineural system and gut biome to establish homeostasis for our nervous system. Manipulation of these hormones are possible via mindfulness, boxed breathing and meditation. Different brain waves are associated with different activities and states of mind. Zee makes a comparison of Tourettes with the short term state of concentration coupled with interruptions from images and memes from social media illuminating what we are subject to when so ensconced in scrolling and reacting. In this episode O, Kelly and Zee discuss the use of artificial intelligence for analysis of our reactions to social media, our dislikes, likes and outrage being measured by clicks, interaction and analysis of text. These measurements are then fed to other AI applications that identify further content to display. Or worse, these applications introduce other users to interact with us, as though herding us.
