What we didn’t realize is how communication was authorized by government. They used this new form of social networking and technology to manipulate society in such a way which turned us off from our relationships, made us strangers in our own homes and turned us into only what was going on from their perspective. In this series we are going to discuss how a network of communication was used to not only kill but hinder a generation of individuals all interlocked and connected and for what?What is happening to our world today?

Severed Conscience - We Lost The War For Our Minds Part One
26 APR 2023 · In this first episode of Severed Conscience - Definitions, we introduce our theory that something has broken us, something has taken ahold of our minds. We call this state where we are unable to exercise moral judgement Severed Conscience. This state of mind is the by product of social media and psychological manipulation.
Since COVID we see a new behavior, it has affected how we form connections to one another and forge relationships. We sidelined our ancestors who fought for the sanctity of life and liberty, who gave us this gift of freedom and prosperity, over the hypothesis “15 days to slow the spread”. While they repeated that phrase to us, what kept us neutral? Paranoia? Fear? Just going with the flow? Go stand in a crowd and watch people shuffle by. What are they wearing, what are they carrying?
People’s cognition has been stunted, damaged to the point where they walk, they speak, but they cannot reflect on their individual responses normally rooted in self awareness. They cannot exercise their conscience.

12 MAY 2023 · In the previous episode we defined Severed Conscience as the breakdown of an individual’s awareness of the environment and the deterioration of their ability to make rational judgments. This breakdown is hastened by social media and excessive technology use. Kelly Trowhill relayed the symptoms she saw in her clients, including a rise in misidentifying the subconscious emotional drives with higher thought. Kelly described the techniques used to assess the emotional state of her patients to help them identify what is behind their increased anxiety. Being kept in a constant state of fight or flight, they are kept in a state of highly distracted, disordered thinking. This leads to heightened anxiety, depression and in some cases, contemplation of suicide
Kelly described how the subconscious forms core emotions and responses, and how interference in this process can implant behaviors and instincts detrimental to healthy function of cognition.

26 MAY 2023 · In the previous episode Kelly, O and Zee discussed the Asch Conformity study. Are humans susceptible to manipulation and conform to group dynamics naturally? The Asch Conformity study illustrates tendencies that humans possess that operate on a subconscious level. These facets can be used to influence our behavior. When these techniques are applied subtly we are kept in a hyper sensitive state, and the evidence is the rising levels of anxiety and dysfunction in children and teens. When we are bombarded on all fronts, we are overwhelmed and turn to soothing techniques that can further reinforce Severed Conscience.
In this episode, we examine what is offered as a solution for this anxiety, and this is a false remedy. Is this used against us, and does that lead to loss of freedom? The implications are profound, and when our society is examined, we see indications that a collective hive mind is currently instituted, and social media acts as the monitor and reminder. Self censorship results, even in “freedom minded” circles.

2 JUN 2023 · While Severed Conscience, the state of impaired cognition imposed by technology, is a new phenomenon, human history is sadly full of examples of mass manipulation. In this portion of our series we turn to history to compare and contrast the various societies that employed psychological as well as physical methods for top down control of populations. This will illustrate that while as humans we share the same weaknesses of those who have gone before, we will also see how more easily we are influenced. History’s dark examples of violence achieved less at a greater cost than we can be subjected to today. The Salem Witch Trials, India’s Caste System and Soviet Russia are our focal points.

9 JUN 2023 · In the previous episode of Severed Conscience - History of Manipulation Kelly, O and Zee discussed the circumstances behind the mass manipulation in Massachusetts during the Salem Witch Trials. We learned that two competing families, the Putnams and the Porters, sought to control the region. Seeking more autonomy, the Putnams wanted to form a new church and control tax collection. They used the Witch Trials as a means to achieve that end against the Porters. Hysteria and fear were critical factors that were wielded effectively resulting in the execution of 19 people.
In this episode you are about to hear, we discuss the British East India Company and what they learned from the Caste system in India and how this shaped techniques of mass manipulation via education and slavery back in the West.

Severed Conscience - The History of Manipulation Part Three
16 JUN 2023 · In the previous episode of Severed Conscience - History of Manipulation O, Kelly and Zee discussed the British East India Company and what they learned from the Caste system in India and how this shaped techniques of mass manipulation via education and slavery back in the West. This included fostering a state sponsored education system in Prussia, which had been so soundly defeated by France that the Prussian rulers were driven to ensure the population would be sufficiently inculcated to fight in defense of their country. We also learned of the manual for slavery titled How To Make A Slave by William Lynch that described creating an environment where enslaved human beings could be held in captivity by mere psychological means. Fear, distrust and envy were the key weapons.
In this episode you are about to hear, we turn our attention to the mass manipulation techniques in the Soviet Union. While exiles occurred prior to the October Revolution, we learn that the Czar allowed several socialist parties to remain and even publish their literature. Czarist Russia was the wealthiest nation in Europe, yet the disparities between classes were targeted and further amplified by Lenin and others. Ultimately Lenin created the Cheka, the secret police that carried out the Red Terror and instituted blood campaigns of terror, imprisonment and death.

Severed Conscience - Technology Part One
23 JUN 2023 · We defined Severed Conscience as the breakdown of an individual’s awareness of the environment and the deterioration of their ability to make rational judgments. This breakdown is hastened by social media and excessive technology use. Artificial Intelligence used to pose as humans in chat, Artificial Intelligence used to study your habits of interaction on social media and what content that interests or enrages and other techniques will influence you. Your eyes, exposed to prolonged use of blue light from laptop or mobile device screens, place you in a state of hyper attentiveness. The dopamine releases that you receive at the discovery of something new with each item you see in a scrolling list can lead to addiction and disrupt your sleep cycles.
The amazing revelation is that Sean Parker, CEO of Facebook openly admits that the social media platforms were designed to keep your attention, and they were not bothered to investigate what that would do to mental and emotional development in children. In this portion of our documentary we explore the various technologies that are placing people in a controlled state where they are ruled by others. That state is Severed Conscience and Big Tech forged ahead despite understanding the trap they were building.

Severed Conscience - Technology Part Two
30 JUN 2023 · In the previous episode we covered the effects of overstimulation of the production of dopamine and norepinephrine and how infinite scroll lists on social media trap us in a continual fight or flight context. This concentrated state of agitation makes our subconscious susceptible to influences that we are unaware of. Tribal communities are formed on social media platforms, the sense of unity helps us combat uncertainty and loneliness. Over taxation of dopamine production leads to stress on the body. The joy we get from our online interactions rescues from the fear porn that AI content curation delivers to us. The dopaminergic effects can lead to aggression and poor impulse control. Blue light exposure only compounds the stress due to interrupted sleep cycles.
In this episode Kelly, O and Zee review the electrical frequencies that constitute the brain waves associated with various forms of cognition. Beta waves triggered by blue light puts us in a state of the busy active mind, and social media then performs high speed context switching. The constant switch between beta and gamma waves put us in the Severed Conscience zone where we cannot stop to reflect.

Severed Conscience - Technology Part Three
7 JUL 2023 · In the previous episode Kelly explains the function of the gamma, beta, alpha, theta and delta brain waves. The brain waves operate in conjunction with the Perineural system and gut biome to establish homeostasis for our nervous system. Manipulation of these hormones are possible via mindfulness, boxed breathing and meditation. Different brain waves are associated with different activities and states of mind. Zee makes a comparison of Tourettes with the short term state of concentration coupled with interruptions from images and memes from social media illuminating what we are subject to when so ensconced in scrolling and reacting.
In this episode O, Kelly and Zee discuss the use of artificial intelligence for analysis of our reactions to social media, our dislikes, likes and outrage being measured by clicks, interaction and analysis of text. These measurements are then fed to other AI applications that identify further content to display. Or worse, these applications introduce other users to interact with us, as though herding us. Chat GPT is a focus and its natural language processing in mental health is discussed.
