15 DEC 2022 · Here we are, at the final episode of our Stalking a Crime series! If this journey has taught us anything, it definitely has been to change the way we perceive this crime. The word "stalking" has been thrown around so often in people's daily lives yet failed to educate our society on the true meaning and dangers of this crime. As if it was just another new trend that'll soon fade or worse yet, we become so accustomed to that we become desensitised by it. Let's join the fight, let's fight for Alice and the countless victims and the many more who are currently too afraid to speak up, to report and leave. It is your right as a human being to have a decent and sane quality of life. Let our voice be your voice!

4 DEC 2022 · This is the story of Alice Ruggles who was murdered in 2016 by her stalker. I won't give away too much of her story on here; I'll let you tune in and hear it for yourself. This is the one that hits closest to home in more ways than one which is why this season #StalkingaCrime was dedicated to her. 23 NOV 2022 · Finally after a few technical difficulties these past couple of days we're able to release our latest episode of #StalkingaCrime Stalking is not only a serious crime but a potentially murderous one inflicted on a subject of obsession. So how far would you say a serial stalker of multiple subjects would go? 8 victims came forward officially to face their tormentor, a couple more too afraid (understandably so) but only 4 vindicated... or are they? 14 NOV 2022 · It's becoming clearer and clearer that a complete reform on how stalking cases are handled on a legal and law enforcement standpoint is needed. This is a case that is so recent that the perpetrator has only just been found guilty this summer 2022. And how is it possible that victims are still struggling to be heard, to feel safe and for our society to understand the devastating ramifications stalking causes physically, emotionally, mentally and financially on its victims.

30 OCT 2022 · A closer look at the recent stalking case of Isla Traquair. A woman who now bears the invisible scars left behind by the viciously terrifying actions of a deranged man. It's time for action, a change in the system, new legislation. Why are the victims ending up being the biggest losers in a stalking /abusive situation? What good is a 1 year order of protection if it does not make the victim feel safer or able to live in their own home. If the custody for this type of crime / offense is a mere 6 months with no requirement to register as a stalker wherever the offender lives or moves or even a registry to keep track of said offender so they can somewhat be deterred from reoffending? If that's the case how does law enforcement stop someone with stalking traits from reoffending with either the same victim or setting their sight on a new prey? We unfortunately still have more questions than answers...

There are perhaps a thing or two we can learn from the land of the rising sun that can be implemented in the west's approach to dealing with stalkers?! Like enforcing mandatory therapy for offenders with stalking traits from 1st police report.

28 AUG 2022 · We're quite sure that most of you have never heard of this case! Tune in for a new episode of Stalking a Crime. This episode took us to one of the countries we have yet to tick off our bucket list of travels... the land of the rising sun. Stalking is unfortunately a universal crime! There is no country, culture, race, social or economic class that is immune to it!

15 AUG 2022 · Episode 15 - So we dug even further in history to figure out how far back we could find cases of stalking. And we found one, although the information we could find about the case itself was fairly limited and pretty much all sources held the same information. We appear to talk more about the perpetrator than the victim here but that's only because as historic as this case became and her surname synonymous with system reform in the U.S legal system, there is unfortunately not enough information about the victim herself. Something we are sad about because just as her name lives on, so should the memory of her as a person.. Thank you for your support!
