As part of my Extended Project, I will be exploring and evaluating how our legal system, in both a national and international sense, enshrines our fundamental rights. I believe it’s important to spread awareness about our human rights – it is not just the responsibility of the justice system but society, as a whole, to acknowledge the rights of every individual regardless of race, gender, age, background, religion etc. Hence, I wanted to create an engaging resource accessible to a majority of people that is still informative.

This podcast centres around the mismatch between human rights and the justice system; addressing it’s successes, failures and inherent flaws. Justice and rights concern every single one of us, and I believe that is crucial to discuss our rights especially in a world where we strive for equality and fairness. I'll be exploring areas of our rights in a global context, including race, the private sphere, the structure of legal systems – using cases of violations and precedents that shape our justice system today.

With every episode, there will be an attached survey to provide feedback and please do - your suggestions are invaluable to improving this podcast!
