Join Grace Harlowe and her friends as they navigate the trials and triumphs of their formative years. From high school to college, and even during the tumult of World War I, their adventures span across America and beyond. In the College Girls Series, Grace, Anne, and Miriam embark on their journey at Overton College, while Jessica and Nora pursue their dreams at a conservatory. Though they gather as the Eight Originals during holidays, the focus of the seven College books lies on Grace and her new companions, including the spirited J. Elfreda Briggs, as they establish Semper Fidelis, a society dedicated to supporting less fortunate students. After graduation, Grace chooses to dedicate herself to a higher purpose, managing Harlowe House at Overton instead of accepting marriage proposals. (Summary by Wikipedia)
