Fossil tells the true stories of the prehistoric world. Each episode, host Nirob takes one fossil, one expedition, or one discovery — the first dinosaurs named by science, the bitter Bone Wars between two rival fossil hunters, a woman whose Lyme Regis finds rewrote the history of life, a fish pulled alive from the sea after millions of years — and rebuilds it: the bone, the people, the hunt, the find, and what it revealed about the history of life on earth.

From the first dinosaurs to the asteroid that ended them, from the Cambrian explosion to the feathered dinosaurs of China, from the woolly mammoth to the dream of bringing it back, Fossil is about deep time — the vast, strange history written in stone, and the patient human effort to read it. Meticulously researched, honest about what is known and what is debated. Clean and suitable for all ages. A new fossil every week.
