Reality doesn't need to be plausible.
When Jerry Siegel wrote the first adventure of Superman in 1933, he immediately made it clear that the kid who was sent to Earth from another planet had super powers. From that moment on, no one was surprised to see the young man in a red cape flying at the speed of light and holding up an airplane with his hands in comic books. This is called "suspension of disbelief": in fiction, the reader accepts as possible things that could never happen in reality. Fantastically true, on the contrary, is a series that tells stories that actually happened, documenting them. These stories are amazing without resorting to the suspension of disbelief: reality does not need to be plausible.
