What happened to Alex VanDalsen?
Alex went missing on the night of February 3rd, 2021. On February 4th, after realizing he was gone, and not at his girlfriend's (which he normally was), his mother Jennifer called 911. It isn't until the 9th... let me repeat that, THE 9TH, that Alex was found.
Alex's death was ruled as a suicide, in spite of all of the evidence pointing to homicide. I implore you to dig deep, and ask yourself, "do I really think this is a suicide?" I don't.
After Jennifer's petition to have Alex's case re-opened was denied this month, myself, along with four other podcasters who covered Alex's case decided to have a round table discussion in the hopes of bringing more attention to this case. Alex was murdered, and Alex deserves justice.

After the arrest of Rex Heuermann in July of 2023, the investigation into the Gilgo Beach murders, once again, collided with the West Atlantic City murders, leaving authorities searching for connections between the cases again years later. While the evidence ultimately yielded no direct link, the recent events have brought to light the four unsolved murders of Kim Raffo, Barbara Breidor, Molly Jean Dilts, and Tracy Ann Roberts in 2006.

18 JUL 2023 · The Long Island Serial Murders began in 1993 with the murder of Rita Tangredi, followed by the murders of Sandra Castilla, and Colleen McNamee in 1993 and 1994. Jane Doe #7 was discovered in 1996, followed by Jane Doe #3 (Peaches), in 1997. Two torsos were found in 2000, and 2003 - and after that, it all went silent... until the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert in 2010.
While Shannan’s death remains a mystery, her legacy goes beyond her fate. Shannan’s disappearance reignited public interest in the unsolved Long Island Serial Murder cases, and set in motion a chain of events that led to the discovery of additional victims, including the four women who became known as The Gilgo Four - Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, and Amber Costello. A new task force was formed in March, 2022, which led to the to the arrest of Rex Heuermann on Thursday, July 13th, 2023.

After Brayla’s murder, the events leading up to her death came to light, exposing the struggles faced by trans individuals. Once this daughter established boundaries and left the Simmons home, Ronald began to plot his revenge on over a dozen people during the holidays in 1987. 8 MAY 2023 · After filing appeals that were ultimately denied throughout 2010, a motion was filed in 2020 on Chad's behalf requesting a video hearing to purge the bench warrant, and ultimately, close the case in Venango County Pennsylvania.
After Nance, the horse queen, fails to appear at the scheduled court date, Pennsylvania dismisses the custody issue on May 21st, 2021. They did NOT resolve the issue of "contempt." In 2022, Chad fought the federal charges, offering extradition in return for air ambulance transport and a speedy trial, or requested the U.S. to dismiss the indictment. Sadly, the U.S. was not ready to let it go, and Chad is STILL in St. Kitts needing urgent medical care.

17 APR 2023 · This week I delve into the controversial and extreme haunted attraction known as McKamey Manor, an extreme haunted house attraction that has sparked intense debate and controversy.
Located in Summertown, Tennessee, McKamey Manor is not your typical haunted house attraction. It bills itself as an extreme haunt experience that challenges its participants physically and mentally. The experience is not for the faint of heart; it involves extreme simulations of torture, confinement, and other traumas. What I’m trying to say is, you have to have at least one loose screw to want to participate.
Participants must sign a 40-page waiver, undergo a background check, and pass a physical and mental exam before being allowed to take the tour. Once inside, participants are subjected to a grueling, hours-long experience that includes simulated drowning, extreme temperatures, and physical and psychological torture. The attraction has garnered significant criticism, with some describing it as a form of torture and exploitation. The owner, Russ McKamey, has defended the experience as a form of "survival horror" that pushes participants to their limits, claiming that no one has completed the experience to this day.
However, many former participants have spoken out against the attraction, describing their experiences as traumatic and violating. Some have accused McKamey of manipulating and gaslighting participants and have criticized the attraction's lack of transparency and oversight.
Exploring the complex issues surrounding McKamey Manor, including the ethics of extreme haunt experiences, the role of consent, and the legal and regulatory challenges posed by extreme attractions- this episode will force you to ask yourself, “how far is too far?”

Alex went missing on the night of February 3rd, 2021. On February 4th, after realizing he was gone, and not at his girlfriend's (which he normally was), his mother Jennifer called 911. It isn't until the 9th... let me repeat that, THE 9TH, that Alex was found.
Alex's death was ruled as a suicide, but I implore you to dig deep, and ask yourself, "do I really think this is a suicide?"
I don't, and I hope you don't either. Get mad, because I am fucking PISSED.
