A person competent in several different fields or activities. A person with a wide array of useful knowledge. A person with multi-task-ability or capability. A person whose knowledge, aptitudes, and skills are applied to a field as a whole or to a variety of different fields (opposed to specialist). The ability to learn and grow in multiple areas is the key to self-awareness and self-confidence. A jack of all trades and a master of none. Generalist vs. Specialist: Which Is Better? When pursuing a career you can either be a generalist, who knows many skills and ideas, or a specialist, who focuses on becoming an expert in one area. Learning the differences between being a generalist and being a specialist can help you determine which level of responsibility you want and which one is best for you. Because generalists have an array of knowledge, their skills are more transferrable among jobs. Things such as customer service, verbal and written communication or other soft skills may help you succeed in any position in any field. It's easier for generalists to see the big picture and can piece together unrelated things. Pros and cons of being a generalist Pro: Having a wide amount of knowledge helps individuals see the connections between departments and find solutions that benefit their entire team or department. Pro: Knowledge and skills can lead to a variety of careers and keep individuals from getting bored doing the same thing over and over. In most industries, problem-solving skills and communication skills are useful. Pro: Finding a job can be easier and quicker for generalists. Con: In a highly technical organization, generalists can struggle to prove their worth because they aren't experts in one particular field. Con: Using multiple skills across a variety of tasks can make generalists tired.

26 SEP 2022 · So yeah I checked out the movie The Woman King. Sort of a female black Robin hood movie in which the main character helps the helpless fight back. Thing is I might not watched the movie if my partner hadn't suggested it. I guess I knew it would be violent which means black man against black woman. I ain't feelin' that and in this movie it was that! But! The with the direction of the movie everything felt justified. People just get tired of being pushed around. So it comes down to protecting yourself and kill if necessary or be murdered. I understand that!

18 SEP 2022 · Some people think reading books is a waste of time. Thing is why do rich people have libraries with hundreds of books? What is the average person missing? The average person doesn't have time to read books that will feed their mind which will feed their body. I was there. I was a reader then got caught up with life. I always listened to audio self-improvement instead of reading the book. I got back into reading when I was locked up in a federal prison (I hope my clients don't see this). I read everything and as I read I wrote and realized the two go hand in hand. Now I love to learn! My mind can't get enough! Books ain't dead except to the people that don't read them.

18 SEP 2022 · The sky is falling the rich are screaming. The great reset is here cries the media. Don't believe the hype! They want you to sell so they can buy low. They want your gold, your stock, your crypto (well maybe not), your real estate, your business, your digital assets and your lambo (oh you don't have one?). They want it all and they want to buy it cheap. Believe it or not in some investment arenas now is the time to buy. Do you know where you should invest your money that will do you the best good? It's right in your face all you have to do is look in the mirror! Don't believe the hype, just try to make some money off of it!

17 SEP 2022 · It will be sunny. Then black clouds. Then sunny. Then lightening with out thunder. Then wind. Then Sonic booms. All that is happenin' in the desert. I guess we ginny pigs for what's to come. I'm not too close to Edwards Base and Richard Branson rocket site. All is it gets a little loud out here and the floor trembles. I'm used to it, but it's still creepy. What they got going on in those hills with creepy lights?

17 SEP 2022 · Is your spouse, partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife of someone you live with keeping you fat? Trying to keep you from looking good? Buying all sort of carbs knowing you gonna eat 'em all! This bugs me, but what you gonna do? I guess have some discipline but it's hard when you have the munchies! Damn them all!

15 SEP 2022 · In my opinion and research I find that buying, selling and trading crypto is a form of gambling with consequences. I was so caught up I wrote a book on BItcoin last year. "Gambling on Bitcoin" on Amazon and my website... It's a game people. A financially deadly game and you don't want to get caught up!

15 SEP 2022 · So are you too proud to stand on a street corner and sell your goods? Would you rather steal something and risk going to...gulp....jail. You don't want that. You gonna stand on the corner and beg? There was a guy playing his guitar at a stop sign. I gave hime $20 bucks because he was betting on himself. The day will come when we will be earning our money from day to day. But you know what? There's nothing wrong with that and you just might like the freedom to make as much as you want. It's easy to make money! Just get off the couch and SALE something in the real world. That's where we are going. Whether you sale cakes, cars, clothes, tools what ever the street will become a swap meet in America. People can't sell on line so they will take it to the streets selling all the stuff they've accumulated. The pawn shop don't want it. The goodwill don't want it. But you gotta get into sales. Unless you would prefer to beg or steal. Just sayin'

13 SEP 2022 · Next year a lot of people are gonna be mad as F! Yep! It's gonna get crazy and the IRS know this! My new book or shall I call it a guide is dropping knowledge about the new tax forms a lot of ya'll are getting. I’ve always prepared my own taxes even as a teenager. I guess ever since they started taking money out of my paycheck I paid attention. Now years later I’m still on top of the tax game and have a pass from the IRS to process any type of tax return. Personal, business and payroll taxes. Taxes is a skill I stay on top of because taxes are never going anywhere. Ever. Now here’s the thing… The taxman kept the country flowing by giving out money via unemployment incentives along with stimulus checks during COVID. Now he wants the money back for all people who took advantage of COVID. Soooo….it’s gonna get ugly next year with the tax situation and I’m warning you now in September 2022. Disclaimer: I’m not giving you tax advice I’m just saying look for a 1090-K in 2023 if you use a 3rd party for payments to you such as Paypal, Square, Venmo, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon to name a few in 2022. For now not Zelle (I personally think the iRS has a plan for Zelle people). A lot of people use Zelle for collecting money. Especially indy contractors. Anyway if anybody pays you at least $600 in 2022 for something you sold to get money. If you used a 3rd party such as Paypal, Square, Venmo, Etsy, Ebay, Amazon to name a few you will get a 1099-K. Maybe several 1099-K's. See what’s happenin’ is the IRS wants the 3rd parties to be the gatekeeper. A gatekeeper who will snitch you out if you get paid more than $600. Thing is you could get more than one 1099-K and if you do not report the money you made, and the snitch (3rd party) does, you will get an audit letter with an estimated amount due. Example: I sold a motorcycle on eBay for 1,000 I will get a 1099-K. I sold 50 t-shirts on Etsy for $15 each I will get a 1099-K. I fixed Joes computer and he paid me $650. He asked if I take Paypal and of course I do because I want to get paid. I will get a 1099-K. I sold an old couch for $700 on Craigslist. The buyer asked if I take Square. Of course I do because I want to get paid. I will get a 1099-K. Yes you have already paid taxes on this couch. Tax man said you earned income so you will be taxed on the $700. If I sold stuff on Etsy, Ebay and Amazon earned over $600 for each one, I will get three 1099-K’s from each snitch I mean middle man, seriously I mean the 3rd party. So I’m a indy contractor (not a corp or LLP). I get paid via check from some customers and I use Paypal and square. The company that pays me by check I earned $3,600. I will receive a 1099-NEC. I also had some payments go thru Paypal and Square and they were both over $600. Will I get two extra 1099-K’s? You bet buddy! I got paid 6,000 via Zelle. Will I get a 1099-K from Zelle? Nope! Not yet anyway because the money goes directly into you bank account. So if that is the case will the IRS ask you to submit your bank statements? Oooh it’s gonna get hot and ugly next year! See this is all about taxes on money you received. The only way you can by pass any of this is to receive cash real green dollars. But I don’t offer tax advice.
