1 MAY 2024 · Speaking from my experience this is a weird way to live especially if you don't know that you have PTSD. It can be a battle between the logical mind and the emotional body. You can experience sensations that don't make sense, so learning about PTSD whether you have it or not can be helpful to navigate the world and people around us

24 APR 2024 · Today we talk about the importance of where we get support. If we have trauma it's important to seek out healthy and trauma informed support systems so that we are validated in our experience. It's easy to have more damage done when sharing our experience with people that don't understand. It's also important to find people that understand the issue you need support with. If you struggle with alcohol AA is a good group. If you struggle with food OA might be a good option. People that don't understand can discount your experience. There are others that don't want to see you grow for their own fears and self reflection. Changing your tribe can be scary and also valuable to living in new healthy ways.

17 APR 2024 · There are many things to grieve when leaving a domestic violence relationship, today we will touch on what some of those things are. Including things we hoped for in the relationship itself. There are a lot of hopes when the relationship starts and we can tend to hold on to what we saw in the beginning of the relationship, thinking that some of those qualities might be restored.
