14 APR 2024 · Greetings, We are so excited to host guest Global Partners missionary to Cambodia, Collette Nybakken, for worship tomorrow at 10am. While attending Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Collette felt the strong call on her life to serve God long-term overseas. She had the opportunity to spend the summer in 2016 serving alongside Global Partners missionaries in Eswatini, where God confirmed her call into missions.  After many years of prayer and discernment, Collette was introduced to the work taking place in Cambodia. She knew immediately after conversations with a few of the team members serving there that God was calling her to join the mission there.  Her heart it to see that the lost be found, and that Gods light would shine through Cambodia. 7 APR 2024 · What has influenced your perspective of foreign-born individuals? How much of that has been the Bible? Join us as we begin a new teaching series about becoming a faith community of loving welcome in a culture of fearful hostility. The Biblical story has a unique invitation for God’s people to embrace and welcome the sojourner… the foreigner… the immigrant. Join us as we dive into a 6 part teaching series titled “Migration and the People of God” with the goal of exploring this theme of Migration through the 6 biblical moments of Creation, Fall, Israel, Jesus, Church, and New Creation. Our aim is to provide our church family as well as the larger faith community of our time a biblical framework to both think about and respond to the increasing global trend of migration that we feel and see in our own backyard.

17 MAR 2024 · When Jesus died, Matthew 27:51 tells us that the giant veil that separated everyday people from the holy of Holies was torn in two. At that moment, holy architecture was completely undone. It used to be that God was over there and I’m over here… but not anymore… God’s spirit is right here. The currency to build a pathway to God’s presence was blood - Jesus’ blood - the currency to enjoy the path is time. unhurried. uninterrupted. Time.

10 MAR 2024 · So last week we talked about why and how we fast, I want to take the next two weeks to have a conversation about why and how we pray.  And regardless of how this first week went for you, whether you felt like your prayer life was on fire or you just couldn’t get into it, I take a lot of solace from the fact that even Jesus’ first disciples took awhile to figure this out. In fact, they weren’t all that great at prayer!  Why Pray? Jesus did and he invited us to as well.

3 MAR 2024 · Well here we are church, tomorrow is officially the first day of our 21 days of prayer and fasting… raise of hands if this is the first time you’ve ever participated in something like this?I’m super excited and a little nervous tbh for these next three weeks. I’m excited because I think the Church is at her best when she is seeking God intentionally and I am excited for the stories of breakthrough and transformation that will come as a result of these 3 weeks. I am a bit nervous because I have a hunch that God is going disrupt some things in our lives.God moving means something in us is changing.IE. If you’ve ever completed a workout plan to get fit or to compete in a race or competition, something had to change in you… habits, schedule, commitments, aversion to sweating and breathing hard.The same is true as we follow Jesus - He is always wanting to change something in our lives.

18 FEB 2024 · I really believe Jesus & His church are the hope of the world.I really believe eternity is on the line.I really believe the Kingdom of God is unshakable.I really believe the great commission matters. Our journey with Jesus starts something like it did with the disciples “come follow me.” The Bible uses this metaphor of “sheep” and “shepherd” to describe our relationship with God. We’re never done being sheep: Psalm 79:13 Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture, will praise you forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise.
