24 APR 2024 · With more than 35 years of diverse healthcare experience, Todd LaPorte leads an integrated health system with six acute-care hospitals, numerous outpatient facilities, a research institute, and various community services impacting social determinants of health and military preparedness. HonorHealth is Arizona’s seventh largest employer, with a presence throughout much of the growing Phoenix metropolitan area.

17 APR 2024 · Mr. Vaughn serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Alliant International University since 2015. Prior to joining Alliant in 2015, Mr. Vaughn served as the President and CEO of Trident University, California, where he also served as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”). He started his career in higher education at National University in San Diego and has served in various roles at institutions including Regional Dean, President and CEO, COO, Vice President of Marketing and Admissions, and Associate Director of Student Services, among others. He currently serves on two separate boards including as a member of the Board of Directors for St. Luke and Central Valley Education Consortium. Mr. Vaughn completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a graduate degree from National University in San Diego, and is currently completing a doctoral degree at the University of Southern California.

21 MAR 2024 · Marcia Mintz has more than 20 years of global and national corporate and nonprofit experience. Most recently, she served as President of John C. Lincoln Health Foundation and Senior Vice President of community benefit programs and services of HonorHealth. Ms. Mintz has served as the chief development officer of Valley of the Sun United Way. Prior to that, she worked in the Bay Area creating corporate and individual partnerships for a nonprofit multi-use residential and recreational campus and eight years in global program development. She has worked and lived in Latin America, Cuba, Europe and the former Soviet Union. She was named one of AZ Business magazine’s 50 Most Influential Women in Arizona Business in 2014 and a Woman Who Moves the Valley 2012 by Arizona Foothills magazine. Ms. Mintz earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Management and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University’s Tisch School of Arts.

15 MAR 2024 · Denise Woodard is the Founder and CEO of Partake Foods, the allergy-friendly company that was inspired by her daughter’s experience with food allergies. Key moments this year include that Partake Foods announced it became a Certified B Corporation, and launched a collab with Ben & Jerry’s! Created in 2016, Denise started the business by self-distributing (selling cookies out of her car around NYC) and self-funding (depleting her 401K and selling her engagement ring). Denise was the first Black woman to raise more than $1 Million publicly for a CPG food startup. As a Black woman, Denise is passionate about raising awareness of Black and female entrepreneurship and increasing opportunities for underrepresented people seeking careers in the food and beverage industry. In 2020, Denise founded Black Futures in Food & Beverage, an annual fellowship program that mentors HBCU students and helps them secure internships and jobs at the program’s end. Prior to launching Partake, Denise spent a decade in consumer-packaged goods at various Fortune 100 companies.

21 FEB 2024 · Michael Hund is the CEO of EB Research Partnership (EBRP), a trailblazing medical research organization focused on curing Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a life-threatening genetic skin disease. Under his leadership EBRP has accelerated the landscape from 2 to over 40 clinical trials and via their award winning venture philanthropy methodology funded the first FDA approved treatment for EB in 2023, the first ever topical gene therapy.

1 SEP 2023 · Now in its tenth year, Simon leads Teen Cancer America, the only national charity in the USA working directly with hospitals to advise, support and fund them in the development of specialized facilities and programs for adolescents and young adults with cancer. The charity is built on the successful model of Teenage Cancer Trust, UK where Simon was Chief Executive Officer for 13 years before launching Teen Cancer America in 2012.

23 JUN 2023 · Jason Johnson is a globally recognized subject matter expert in the International K-9 Community. As the Founder and CEO of Project K-9 Hero, Jason has dedicated his career to making sure retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs receive the medical care, rehabilitation, or rehoming that they deserve once their service to our country is complete. He is a former Field Canine Coordinator for the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program with Department of Homeland Security, Lead Instructor and Course Developer at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives National Canine Training Center, Kennel Master and K-9 Handler for the U.S. Department of State in Iraq and Afghanistan, Police Narcotics K-9 Handler and Trainer, and a U.S. Army Military Police Officer. Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Security Management, is a published author, and a executive producer of television and film.

18 MAY 2023 · Mike serves as President and CEO for The Shaw Group. Prior to his role with Shaw, Mike served in several executive level roles throughout the energy industry, including President of Bernhard Energy, President and CEO of Synergy Renewables, CEO of TXU/Luminant Development and SVP, Business Development and Marketing at Saulsbury Industries. Mike also served as EVP at the former Shaw organization. Mike serves as an independent board member at Aries Clean Energy and Cypress Creek Renewables. Mike has enjoyed a long career leading and developing entrepreneurial growth companies and he has an unrivaled energy and passion for the industry.
