In Blue Germ, an English physician and a Russian research scientist embark on a groundbreaking journey to create a bacillus that turns deadly germs into harmless microorganisms, making mankinds age-old dream of immortality a tangible reality. But in a time before international regulations could govern such a miraculous breakthrough, they face the looming threat of reactionary politicians who oppose anything that challenges the status quo. Undeterred, these visionary inventors take matters into their own hands, initiating a global spread of their life-altering bacillus through the water supply in England. Will their audacious act lead to a utopia or a dystopia? Join us as we explore the thin line between progress and peril in this thought-provoking tale. - Summary by Brian Fullen
