For many years I have taken the many opportunities that I have had to support a number of people and organisations who work tirelessly to create a better world for people and animals. They devote large amounts of time and energy towards each of the causes they work on and when ever possible I share links to their web pages so that other likeminded people can learn and support them in any way possible.
Because is a word I chose to use as I felt it could describe in two ways what I wanted to convey.
Firstly - Be the Cause that you support. Do what you can and contribute to the success of something dear to your heart and mind.
Secondly - Why? Because you can. I believe that we all have the opportunity to do something significant in our lives and that we really don't need to look any further than having the will to do it.
Making a difference in the world for others, and ourselves, is not about how much money you have, how good you communicate, or how much you do. It is all about just doing at least that one thing that contributes to a positive future.
I hope that listeners find the people and subjects interesting as I unfold who they are and what they do.

I want to give a shout out to the unsung heroes who have supported KOCH and still do well before Julie and I began to take part.
Firstly Sunworld Safaris / Gabriele Nowak who gave Florence the initial opportunity to experience life outside Korogocho and did not stop there. They have been an integral part in contributing to continued support, which includes running the trips Julie and I fund.
G A Insurance that continues to support the community through its programs that support those in need. StJohns and others who care about the people ndeeply and offer support as needed.
