1 JUN 2021 · SwitchOn Global Telethon is a non-stop 25-hour online event created to unite the world through stories and songs, to raise awareness and funds for some of the world’s most endangered species. World Environment Day, Saturday 5th June will see the School Broadcasting Network Inc (Australian youth charity), uniting with over 100 entertainers & storytellers including Grammy Award winning artists like Ricky Kej (India) & Mr G (USA), keynote speakers including Dr Sally Box Australian Threatened Species Commissioner, wildlife experts such as whale biologist Nan Hauser(Cook Islands) & documentary makers such as Ian Redmond OBE (UK) who are all joining together from across every continent, to deliver a global online telethon to raise awareness and funds for 25 endangered species, for 25 hours across 25 countries!
