10 OCT 2026 · Welcome to Last Call, a look at the biggest stories Jim and Greg covered over the past week on the 3 Martini Lunch.
This week, they discuss New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani unloading on Israel on the three-year anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attacks, another lefty tax scheme blowing up in Dems' faces, new evidence of a deeper Iranian plot against America's presence at a UK military base, and the Ft. Hood terrorist learns when he will be executed.
First, they slam Mayor Mamdani, who opened his tweet with an appropriate remembrance of the horrific Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel but then spent much more time addressing what he considers the "genocide," "war crimes," and "apartheid" of Israel. Jim and Greg call out the falsehoods, the ghoulish timing, and how Mamdani's stance is now the position of the vast majority of Democrats.
Next, the tackle another left-wing tax embarrassment. The "Mansion Tax" in Los Angeles was supposed to bring in huge revenues and pay for low-income housing. The results have been a laughable failure for Democrats, including both candidates for mayor.
Then, they react to the latest reports that the U.S. moved B-1 Bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK because the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was planning a drone attack against planes and personnel there. They also address reports on the IRGC "owning" human trafficking lines into Western Europe and the UK.
Finally, they welcome the news that Ft. Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 people (plus an unborn baby) and wounded 32 others on base in 2009, will face execution there by firing squad in early December.

9 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Friday 3 Martini Lunch as they chronicle Abdul El-Sayed dodging what should be an easy debate question about Iran and Israel, Vice President JD Vance missing the mark when asked to define socialism, the debate over whether the Ft. Hood terrorist's execution should be made public, and more.
First, they highlight Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed refusing to say whether he believes Iran or Israel is a bigger threat to the United States. Jim explains how his non-answer tells us a lot. They also remark on how El-Sayed mother became relevant in the campaign last night.
Next, they scratch their heads as Vice President Vance defines socialism as the Democrats pushing for boys in girls' sports and globalists importing foreign workers at the expense of job for Americans. While those should be opposed, Jim and Greg define what socialism is and why that matters - especially when we're just a few weeks from Election Day and so many candidates on the left are embracing that label.
Then, they wade into the debate over the military announcing the execution of Ft. Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan will be livestreamed. Jim explains why he's conflicted over that move. Greg points out the hypocrisy of so many on the left who are outraged by this decision.
Finally, Jim and Greg explain why the podcast will sound a bit different for the next couple of weeks.

8 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss Secretary of State Marco Rubio praising and defending Western Civilization, an Islamist terrorism plot against the Mall of America, Democrats pretending to be against boys in girls sports at a politically convenient time, and the coffee shop celebrating the 10/7 Hamas atrocities.
First, they applaud Sec. Rubio for explaining the roots of our Western Civilization, the threats facing it from both inside and outside the West, and how we must preserve this amazing heritage of freedom, faith, and prosperity. Jim also notes the mazing optics of the speech in Athens.
Next, they breathe a sigh of relief as the FBI arrests the would-be Islamist terrorist who was plotting to shoot up the Mall of America later this month. This is the latest in a series of Islamists planning or trying to execute attacks.
Then, they roll their eyes as more Democrats in tight races suddenly announce they aren't in favor of men in women's sports or trans surgeries for children. They're not sincere but will the tactic work? Jim also explains how this move stems from the problems Kamala Harris had in 2024.
Finally, the they recoil at the Texas coffee shop openly celebrating the 10/7 Hamas terrorism.

7 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they react to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani unloading on Israel on the three-year anniversary of the Hamas terrorist attacks, Abdul El-Sayed reportedly scolding Hasan Piker over his radical comments, Maine Sen. Susan Collins exposing the Troy Jackson's ineptitude in the state legislature, and the Ft.
Next, they get a kick out of Michigan U.S. Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed reportedly telling Hasan Piker that Piker's consistently incendiary comments are hurting the campaign and costing El-Sayed votes. Jim and Greg also roll their eyes as El-Sayed again tries to downplay Piker's many appearances on behalf of El-Sayed earlier this year.
Then, they laugh Sen. Collins patiently eviscerates Troy Jackson for more than 20 years of failure in state government, including the huge numbers of Jackson's bills that Democrats wouldn't even support.
Finally, they welcome the news that Ft. Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 people (plus an unborn baby) and wounded 32 others on base in 2009, will face execution there by firing squad in early December.

6 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they discuss new evidence of a deeper Iranian plot against America's presence at a UK military base, a devastating ad from Wisconsin GOP gubernatorial nominee Tom Tiffany over his opponent's embrace of illegal immigration, the latest embarassment for the Russian military, and the death of disgraced former House Speaker Dennis Hastert.
First, they react to the latest reports that the U.S. moved B-1 Bombers from RAF Fairford in the UK because the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was planning a drone attack against planes and personnel there. They also address reports on the IRGC "owning" human trafficking lines into Western Europe and the UK.
Next, they love a tough new ad from Wisconsin Republican Tom Tiffany highlighting Democrat David Crowley's history of declaring himself "an accomplice" of illegal immigrants. Jim and Greg also look at the latest poliing in that governor's race and wonder how much voters will reward the progress made ib immigration policy since early 2025.
Then, they tackle the bizarre story of the Russians taking the remains of a prince and saint to the battlefield in Ukraine as inspiration, and definitely not getting the results they wanted.
Finally, they comment on the passing of former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, who later went to prison and lived his final years in prison and then disgrace after he was discovered to be paying hush money to one of numerous students he allegedly molested while working as a teacher and coach decades earlier.

5 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Monday 3 Martini Lunch as they dig into reports of a Russian dying from the plague after a lab accident, the Democrats planning to push tax increases to address affordabiity concerns, another lefty tax scheme blowing up in Dems' faces, and Sunday's Bears-Jets game.
First, they react to reports that a Russian lab worker died after being exposed to the plague. No other cases have been reported yet but significant quarantines are in place any many people are leaving the large city where the lab is located. Jim says Russia, just like with China and Covid, is not a trustworthy source to tell us the truth.
Next, they shake their heads as Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly reveals the Democrats' big plan for making life more affordable. They're going to raise taxes on rich people. He also promises tax cuts for those on the lower end of the income ladder. Jim and Greg explain how this would have no chance of bringing prices down.
Then, the tackle another left-wing tax embarrassment. The "Mansion Tax" in Los Angeles was supposed to bring in huge revenues and pay for low-income housing. The results have been a laughable failure for Democrats, including both candidates for mayor.
Finally, Greg and Jim shake hands at midfield after the Bears defeated the Jets on Sunday. They discuss the key factors in the game and what impact all the attack ads from last week may have had on the game.

3 OCT 2026 · Welcome to Last Call, a look at the biggest stories Jim and Greg covered over the past week on the 3 Martini Lunch.
This week, they discuss Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) endorsing Democrats in the midterm elections, an apparent terrorist attack by a pilot on a plane with many Israeli passengers, new research showing that social media short videos are damaging our brains, and the intensely negative ads about Sunday's Bears-Jets game.
First, they have fun with the IRGC telling Americans to vote for Democrats. It also lies about the Iranian nuclear program and whines about being on the U.S. list of terrorist organizations. Jim says this would not be the first time terrorists or their sponsors injected themselves into a U.S. election.
Next, they discuss Wednesday's breaking news of a FlyDubai flight that nearly crashed after a co-pilot allegedly stabbed the pilot and sent the plane into a dive before he was subdued by passengers, many of whom were Israeli.
Then, they react to new research showing that short videos on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube shorts are damaging our brains and especially our memories. Jim discusses the value of sustained focus on tasks and Greg condemns the algorithms and our inability to put the phones down.
Finally, they have fun with the fierce attack ads against the Bears and Jets heading into Sunday's game.

2 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Friday 3 Martini Lunch as they weigh on on several prominent Democrats injecting themselves into the "Cornell 7" case, Maine Senate hopeful Troy Jackson being frustrated that Jewish voters don't believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, the Trump administration going atter "ghost student" fraud and saving taxpayers a lot of money, and the final installment of the vicious Bears-Jets attack ads ahead of Sunday's game.
First, they're concerned several prominent Democrats are trying to inject themselves into the discussion of the morally bankrupt and possibly criminal "Cornell 7" case. AOC incorrectly ranted about it, Abdul El-Sayed chimed in too. And New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is putting Attorney General Tish James in charge of the investigation. Is this case about to be deeply politicized?
Next, they shake their heads as Troy Jackson does damage control after being annoyed that Jewish voters reject his description of Gaza as genocide because that word make them think of the Holocaust. Jackson apologized, but what does this episode tell us about the left's mindset on this issue?
Then, they applaud the Trump administration for cracking down on students who don't exist but are receiving federal assistance by pretending to be legitimate applicants. At least $200 million in taxpayer dollars has been saved this year alone.
Finally, today is the final installment of the outside interest groups' attack ads against the Bears and Jets. What will their closing arguments be?

1 OCT 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Thursday 3 Martini Lunch as they focus on why Republican Michele Tafoya has a real chance in the Minnesota Senate race, why Democrats will likely be disappointed in their efforts to score Senate upsets in deep red states, and Ken Paxton's comments about the GOP midterm convention. Plus, they react to a plot to attack the Texas State Capitol, and they unveil the latest attack ads ahead of Sunday's huge Bears-Jets game.
First, they're cautiously hopeful that Michele Tafoya can actually win a U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota. Jim explains why Tafoya resonates well in a reliably Democratic state and which issues are hitting home for voters.
Next, Jim takes us through the efforts of Democrats to take U.S. Senate seats in traditionally Republican states like Nebraska, South Carolina, and South Dakota, and he tells us why the GOP will most likely win in those places next month.
Then, they react to the news of a planned attack on the Texas State Capitol being foiled just a day in advance. They also examine Texas GOP Senate candidate Ken Paxton's surprising take on the Republicans' midterm convention.
Finally, the latest hard-hitting attack ads ahead of Sunday's Jets vs. Bears showdown.

30 SEP 2026 · Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they dive into breaking news about an apparent terrorist attack by a pilot on a plane with many Israeli passengers, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) endorsing Democrats in the midterm elections, Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt stumbling badly in his questioning of former Special Counsel Jack Smith, and the latest intensely negative ads.
First, they discuss the breaking news of a FlyDubai flight that nearly crashed after a co-pilot allegedly stabbed the pilot and sent the plane into a dive before he was subdued by passengers, many of whom were Israeli.

Jim says this would not be the first time terrorists or their sponsors injected themselves into a U.S. election.
Then, they cringe as Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt's efforts to link former Special Counsel Jack Smith to the Trump probe in Fulton County, Georgia, fall apart when he (or his staff) confuse the Atlanta Hawks with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Jim and Greg also address the Senate Judiciary Committee revealing the Smith probe collected communications from reporters of many different media organizations.
Finally, they have more fun with the fierce attack ads against the Bears and Jets heading into Sunday's game.
