We're at the halfway point of 2001: A Horrortober Odyssey with Harrison Ford's lone foray into horror, directed by none other than Robert Zemeckis: What Lies Beneath. Ford plays Dr. Norman Spencer, whose wife, Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer), is being haunted by a seemingly benevolent spirit in the house they are renovating. She soon realizes the spirit may be trying to tell her something about her husband and his past, with grave consequences for her future. It's a clunky, overly long take on the genre that is barely horror, barely supernatural, and barely entertaining. We get into Clark Gregg's screenplay, Harrison Ford's '90s filmography, and the muddled nature of the film.
The Projection Booth's Mike White joins Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk What Lies Beneath, Harrison Ford, Robert Zemeckis, and so much more.
