West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy is Now Open! 8am-9am PT/ 11am-Noon ET for our especially special Daily Specials, Smothered Benedict Wednesdays!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, even though Giorgia Meloni and Steve Bannon share great glee in attacking immigrants, minorities and democratic norms, while also pushing the racist, anti-semitic "Great Replacement Theory," Meloni’s neo-fascist Mussolini party still thought Bannon was too fascist for them.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office stripped forty-seven deputies of their firearms and California peace officer duties after an internal audit revealed they failed their psychological evaluations; American interstates are going to get a lot friendlier to EVs; and, millions of Americans will save on Medicare fees next year.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the British pound plunged to a record low against the soaring dollar, prompting defeatist memes about the world’s sixth-largest economy; and, European leaders believe the dual explosions that damaged the Nord Stream gas pipeline were deliberate, and some officials blamed the Kremlin for the “sabotage.”
