Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Smothered Benedict Wednesdays, is now available on the Spreaker Player!

Then, on the rest of the menu, Virginia regulators are expected to take a final vote on whether to advance Youngkin’s plan to withdraw from a multi-state carbon cap-and-trade program; racist messages and a dead raccoon were left for an Oregon mayor and a Black city council member; and, the US Army Corps of Engineers revoked a permit for a Minnesota mine citing threats to a downstream tribe’s water standards.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where an Air India Boeing 777 flying to San Francisco made an emergency landing in Russia’s Siberia after experiencing engine problems; and, artist Françoise Gilot, the acclaimed painter who loved and later left Picasso, is dead at age 101.
